| News Comment | Midfielder Evans Leaves Town at 14:32:57
This is weird I get the squad number requirement but if his best years are ahead post surgery why are we not retaining. A fifth of our squad are loans after all. |
| News Comment | Beale: Our Naivety Cost Us the Points at 23:25:39
Yes it did mean a lot not it’s Sunderland but a poke in the ribs to the doubters we are still here. Yes second best we were the better side. |
| News Comment | West Bromwich Albion 2-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 08:06:32
Don’t have a problem losing to a better side be it on the night or not. However sometimes there are games one needs to revert to plan B shut up shop make it hard to break you down. Whilst I love to watch our expansive use all the pitch football it does have a sting in the tail. A point would have been good if we had set up that way, accepting parking the bus after conceding on 4 minutes was out of the window. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: McKenna's Doing a Remarkable Job at 08:28:59
Budget, playing style whatever. The one thing Mick we have now is a bit of class on and off the field that comes at no cost. Can’t think what the current regime and manger would think of mouthing fcuk off to the supporters! |
| News Comment | McKenna: Stoke Will Be a Threat This Year at 19:10:23
Come on Kieran (I know you have to say this) they are shgt Beat Rotherham first game we rolled them as a Div one side. They beat WBA U15 during week. Plus Neil ffin budgie smuggler. Nailed on three points! |
| News Comment | Hirst Signing Confirmed at 16:55:59
Reading some of the Leicester supporters social media OUR George is going to absolutely love playing them twice! |
| News Comment | Barton: McKenna a Man Under Pressure at 10:36:59
We have become the pariahs of League one bit like Newcastle in Prem, everybody hopes we lose. We should bottle that in a siege mentality everybody hates us we don't care ! |
| News Comment | Kompany: Not Many Championship Clubs Have Competed Like Town at Turf Moor This Season at 08:38:07
Linkboy spot on they can stuff them where the sun don't shine. Burnley ffs their trophy history is further away in the past than ours. Their only European experience is in the Anglo Scottish Cup. This wasn't Manchester United, I fully expected us to be beat them, after all aren't we buying Championship level players. They like Norwich WBA Sheffield United are yo-yo clubs never good enough for Prem but compete in Championship. I get the League is priority but I coach youngsters and surprisingly we find consistent team selection in all games breeds consistent results. Fleetwood at home would have been next why oh why didn't we try and knock them over at PR with a full side. I hope we not going to Wembley but feel it's likely !! |
| News Comment | Cambridge United 1-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 18:46:20
Oh my days the garbage on here. Look at the bloody fixtures they all have to play each other. Having Derby and others in the race is a good thing we're six points off and Wednesday at Portman Road next week. Long long way to go. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Me and Karl Were Both Happy to Abandon and Play the Game Another Day at 21:14:17
Frankly it makes me embarrassed to be a fellow Ipswich supporter not the game but the comments on this and match report above ffs. There is ages to go we have an owner spending money a quality manger and squad. It's a blip all will come good. Bring back Marcus and Mick I'm half expecting to see in comments. Nothing is ever guaranteed in football apart from retard comments! |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-1 Plymouth Argyle - Match Report at 18:33:36
Crikey the comments on here. We are probably not at our best over a few weeks but we are not losing. 20 games to go ffs. The two new forwards will get us up. If it's the play offs so be it. Loads of game time to come belieeeeve! |
