Never really been fond of Leeds utd, have bad memories of their away support, style and attitude.
However credit where credit is due they have beaten us twice this year and scored 8 goals in doing so.
The fact we could and now should finish above them is a testament to to the effort the manager and team have put in over a whole season. Fingers crossed we get the points we need, how ever many that turns out to be. We can stikk even win the league, right? COYB |

Not really the club’s style but perhaps not as bad as first appeared and it might be a club over country issue given our situation?
Ormperjaps they really aren’t sure how bad the injury is, either way let’s hope for a seift recovery, important player to have available for the run in/ play offs if possible. |

Great start to the season. May I out the cat amongst the pigeons and suggest the weakest member of or squad is possibly the infamous 12th man? I can't be the only armchair supporter (expat) to notice our away results (with our excellent away support) have been better than home results over the last few years. The two games will be a good indicator of our chances,I remain as always optimistic, what's the point of being otherwise? ;) |

Not getting hammered every game, but still a little off the pace, perhaps normal for a squad that has undergone such a radical overhaul.
Certainly think that PH should not be hung out to dry this early on, this is a project and projects take time, the guy has a proven record albeit in the lower leagues, time will tell if he has what it takes at this level, but most of us wanted his risk to be taken, right?
I hate the sacking mentality, that has never been he Ipswich way, and I honestly think what the club needs is the full support of the fans, |

Don't often post. Say what you like about Mcarthy, there is no doubt he has the ability to assemble a squad of average players and get te best out of them with his turgid brand of football which thankfully I am too far away to watch on a regular basis. There is a counter-argument that he gets the worst out of class players, but the fact is he is able to build off a team spirit that obviously stems from loyalty towards players that are loyal to him. He has had some excellent bargains over the years, and plays the loan market well, under the current regime what more can we hope for?
Decent football, I hear you cry. Good luck with that. Anyway, been supporting the boys from home and afar for 40 years, I find stoicism helps. |
