Top Man Indeed! Looking forward to having Scott at the Club for a LONG time. When my lad is born he'll be getting a Town Goalkeeper kit if one is available in baby sizes!!!! Incidentally I met Scott's Father at a hotel in Ipswich before a match and he was a properly nice bloke too! |

Nice blog! I enjoy reading the blogs when I'm stuck on this floating prison for 4 months, it helps with my understanding of what actually happened at the match! I managed to get down for the pre season against Wolves and thought Martin looked like one of our best players there, he was a constant threat! Glad he's being pretty consistent! As for Shergar, if you disagree, perhaps be more constructive? Abuse smacks of little man syndrome. |

I can understand your point mate, I work at sea, I spend 8 months of the year on what is essentially a floating prison, and my 4 month off on leave might not always occur during the football season. So getting to games is something pretty damned special to me! In fact, being a Town fan is something pretty damned special, so special in fact that whenever I am flying out to join my ship I am normally wearing my Town Shirt. And do you know what? I ALWAYS get people coming up to talking about Town. Usually friendly airport staff, happens in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, USA, everywhere I fly. When I do get to go to a match it's a 600 Mile round trip for me because I now live near Sunderland. I've even got my soon to be wife supporting ITFC and she comes from a family that is divided by supporters of Newcastle and Sunderland! All supporters should be made welcome! By the way to the supporter in Singers, my ship will be there in March sometime and I'll be due a run ashore! |

Bobble, Sunderland isn't THAT bad! Every town has it's positives and negatives, even Ipswich! As for the lad turning down the contract offered to him, he was offered a 6 month contract, I'm not surprised he turned that down. Good luck to him! |

Considering the circumstances, I'm sure his main concern was his family. Whilst I don't condone his actions, I do understand, and more importantly, I wish Carlos and his family well. |
