Player of the Year voting ends tonight
at 08:46 30 Mar 2024

I to went for big Cam.
He makes me feel reassured when he plays. He is so calm and composed as a CB.
He brings out the best in Wolfy too.

As somebody who has suffered with MH issues, I can not second this enough.
There is nothing that comes close to watching your team - especially if they are on the up.

On a personal level, I hope you are on the mend now. Its really important to stay positive and to keep talking to people. Sometimes even just a simple chat about the most innocuous of topics can really help.

As a club, this is fantastic to see. Makes you really proud of the efforts these players are going to whilst at the club.

However, it is slightly frustraiting that volunteer coaches at grass roots level can't even buy a place onthis course. 3rd year running I got no luck in the 'random ballot' yet we have 4 players from ITFC who seemingly got lucky....

We are so good to watch
at 13:50 14 Aug 2023

I said the same to the chap next to me on Saturday after the 2nd goal. Not that long ago the CB would have either hoofed it out for a throw or played a dodgy backpass to the GK. Instead Burgess took his time, check his postion, passed his way out of toruble and 5/6 passes later we scored. Incredible stuff to watch.

We will come unstuck at times with it for sure, but im lovong it right now and long may it continue.

Firstly, apologies for any errors in my text as I am typing this whilst walking the dog.

I would suggest the most simple thing to do is to download an app called hub of hope. It will list all the services available to you from just somebody to chat to right through to official CBT and councilling. I have suffered with my MH a lot and have found that just talking to somebody is often the best fix. It doesn’t have to be a close friend. I’m fact I have an older lady at work who likes to us each other as a sounding board. We see each other in person about once a fortnight but always make time for a chat.
You mentioned medication, I would completely agree. I’m my opinion medication should be a very last resort. I have seen first hand the consequences of people being given medication with little thought for the side or after effects. That said, if you do call your GP, you are well within your rights to refuse any medication they offer.
You are not alone in this feeling and you have already done the are but by talking to people.

I was at the bottom a few years ago and wanted to end it all.
I found that taking and stripping life right back helped me. I no li get do social media (TWTD is about as much as I do nowadays!).
I enjoy silly play time with the kids. I enjoy cooking for the family. I took up gardening.
Sometimes just a reset of values and life can be all it needs to shift our focus again. It doesn’t need to be too drastic. Take the dog for a walk every morning can be enough to wake me up and focus me on the day.

Sorry for the ramble, not sure I made much sense there.

Thanks for this.
I know his original message didn’t actually state he had tickets, but maybe wrongly. I assumed 4 people going following a team to Vienna would actually try and go to the game. Rather than just sit in a bar.

Sorry for the possibly silly question, but where did you see tickets?
I can’t see them on either club website and little Google search offers nothing…

There is a Barnsley fan in the office and he is very much of the opinion that he is happy to conceed the game tonight, then they should rest players between now and the play-offs so they can batter Wednesday.

I say Barnsley fan, he has been known to attend Nodge games as well as Peterborough before now.

I just personally think he slows us down a little bit. We looked much a thret when Evans was in the side. It just seems a bit pedestrian in the middle without him now, maybe Luongo is the one to offer that attacking spark with Evans injured.

Thats why i sit in the stand and watch, rather than being on the touchline choosing the team!

In short, yes.

Don't get me wrong both are fantastic footballers on thier day and we are lucky to have both however, Luongo just seems to have a bit more about him. Going forward he looks for the opening for a through ball whilst Sammy always wants to go sideways. To many times he has 'burst' forward and then rather than shoot or play a penetrative pass he goes sideways.

Like i said, both very good, but if it was my call then i would start Evans/ Cam with Luongo and use Morsy to kill the game when needed.

I usually download a lower league expantion pack and try to go from non league to champs league as qucik as possible. Can't apply for jobs, only accept those offered to you.
Currently have Felixstowe in the national league south. But have no money and board wont turn pro so just relying on picking up released players and hoping one or two are worth a few quid. Keeping an eye out for the Town job but Steve Morrison seems to have got them in and around the Championship play-offs at the moment.

Thank you all for the Honest and heart warming replies. Good bunch of people on here.

Apologies for for the emotional post, and even more sorry if you got something in your eye reading it!
Kayden does know. I DM’d him when his interview about mental health went up.

I should have ended that by saying that it seems a different life now. I can’t believe that I ever got so low. So much happier now and it almost feels like an out of body experience - like watching it happen to someone else.

Kayden Jackson saved my life
at 09:08 16 Dec 2022

Just wanted to share something with you if I may.
I know Kayden Jackson often splits the crowd, however I for one will always be indebted to him.
Just pre-Covid, I took my young son to his first ITFC game. I had the intention of ending my life after wards but wanted to take him before I did so. We ended up sitting right near the tunnel.
My boy was keen for a photo of the players as they came out so I called a few names and Kayden Jackson was the only one to come over. He spent ages with my boy. Photos, autographs, high fives and a good chat. Kayden then said something off the cuff about mental well-being that stuck with me. After the game we were stuck in traffic by the players exit and Kayden was in his car next to us. He recognised my boy from earlier and unwound his window to ask him if he enjoyed the game and if he was going to go again.
It was such an small and simple thing for him to do, and it may seem silly, but it really sparked something in me that evening. How humble he was, and how down to earth he was. There was no arrogance from a man who could very well have just ignored us.
Now 2/3 years later I am loving life, got a fantastic family and new vigour for it. I think it’s fair to say that Kayden, whilst not everyone’s favourite ITFC player, is certainly a hero in my eyes.
As long as he is at ITFC , then I will always champion him - and will always follow his career should the time come for him to move on.

Supporter Buses for Home Games
at 12:12 3 Oct 2022

Hi all, please don't lynch me if this clearly posted somewhere, however it is is becoming more nad more difficult to park in and around town on matchdays, and the trains back to Diss are 1) expensive and 2) sh*te. Unfortunatly I don't know the wider town and area well enough to know about parking / walking, esepcaily with a young son in tow.

I did used to park out along Norwich Rd and walk in, but my mate sold his car park space so that option has gone!

Does anybody know of a supporters bus that goes to home games fom the Diss / Eye area at all? Or where I could even find this info if it was a thing?

Thanks in advance.
