Ipswich supporters in Ireland

I never realised there were so many supporters in Ireland. When someone would ask me what team I supported I would usually have to explain who Ipswich were and why, especially these last 20 years. Not any more after yesterday. The mckenna link (my namesake) will only mean a greater following in the future.

Not quite the last saloon/high noon but its close. Have been gifted so many opportunities in the past that tonight has to be the night. No opposition is going to roll over for us and we have to be tighter at the back without gifting goals away. I would hate to go into Saturday needing a win. I think Leeds will easily beat Saints.

Concede way too many goals all season. Goals against costing us dearly. If we get promoted premier league teams are going to embarrass us.

Opportunity that's all it is

These last 2 results gives us an opportunity, nothing more. If we don't take care of business next 2 games then tonight counts for nothing. Need at least 2 draws or a win and a loss to leave it in our own hands come the last game.

Owners Ambitions for the club

Now we will see what the real ambition is by the owners.If it's a push for promotion this season then there has to be some serious business done in the window. If its a more long-term project then we won't. There is no guarantee that we will be in this position next year or that McKenna will be the manager.
