Excellent news! Just starting to kick on and really prove the potential we all know he possesses. Next up...Didsy please! |

Sounds like a solid result matched a solid performance. Excellent to continue with our run of clean sheets, and if Henshall keeps up his form we could have a real asset on our hands this season. Very positive! |

What a stunning deal for Town! Just goes to show that all the 'best left back in the championship' reminders really did bump up the price! |
| News Comment | Town 2-1 Derby County at 22:18:30
What a stunning performance and wonderful night for the whole club! A brilliant comeback win, a wonder strike from Joniesta and player of the season-elect Christophe Berra pops up sigh he winner. I was 1 of many who said a couple of weeks ago that we wouldn't make the play-offs; I think we've got every chance now. Results have gone our way tonight, leaving us just 2 points off Reading in 6th. Let's get behind the boys on Saturday against Forest (who are winless in 8) and bring them home again. Another win, and we can start dreaming. 8 games left, 8 cup finals, let's bring he good times back to Town! COYB - WE LOVE YOU MICK! |

We must take the positives. We were 9 minutes away from being 1 point from the play offs. A remarkable achievement. Teams around us have drawn too...we look decent for a play off push in 9th. COYB! |
| News Comment | Nottingham Forest 0-0 Town at 17:05:32
Great point, Town! Keeps the momentum going. I would have taken a point before the game all day long. COYB! |
| News Comment | Blackpool 2-3 Town at 17:29:13
Brilliant win! It just feels great when Town win full stop, but to score the winner in added time is a bonus. So many positives...Nouble scoring, Taylor scoring, Murphy scoring - that's 3 Ipswich strikers scoring in 1 game...brilliant stuff. McGoldrick impressive yet again, dropping into midfield which I think is a great role for him (almost like Rooney's position). Now the ROI speculation has dropped, everyone can concentrate on getting up the league. Credit to Mick with his early attacking subs. Brilliant stuff. Great win! COYB! |
| News Comment | Town 1-1 Barnsley at 22:01:17
What a shame. Expected us to kick on in the second half after scoring just before HT. We made Barnsley look like world beaters in the second half; Mick was too stubborn to change the system and counteract it. As for Cresswell, it's incredibly disappointing to lose such a talismanic player in such an idiotic way. |

| News Comment | FAI in No Rush to Appoint New Boss at 10:33:43
To be honest, I'd like to see Mick leave. Why didn't he get us to the play offs last season? Yet more mid table mediocrity like the last 10 years. Would be delighted if he took the job - I think that Mick is leading us towards a relegation battle this year with a poor squad. Bring back Paul Jewell please - much better with the players, and greater track record than Mick. |
| News Comment | Blues Linked With Ebanks-Blake Move at 10:52:54
What a waste of space! Constantly injured (will he even be able to cope at League 2 level after coming back from a sprained ankle/broken leg?) and he only scored 15 goals last season. He's just a poorer version of Jason Scotland - we could easily get him back on a loan with a view to a permanent! |
| News Comment | Anderson Only Change at Wigan at 06:29:31
To be perfectly honest, I don't rate Anderson any higher in my opinions of him than Hewitt in the same position. The only thing Anderson can do is cross a ball and run up and down the pitch. Would much rather see a team of Hewitt at right midfield, and Veseli/Tabb up front - both good finishers with a keen eye for goal. On another note, how about we try and sign Jason Scotland on loan? He isn't getting any games at Barnsley, and would do an awesome job up front with Veseli/Tabb. |
