| News Comment | Stansfield on Town's January List at 19:33:26
I think that Freddie can still do a job at this level, albeit as back up. His goals to minutes ratio is probably as good as anyone's. I would rather see Jackson moved on. |
| News Comment | Birmingham City 2-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 21:44:41
Inspired substitutions by McKenna. Harness impressive as always and, for the first time, I could see why Scarlett has been brought in. We missed Williams big time, both Birmingham goals coming from our right side. Donacien must wonder what he's done wrong, a much more dependable defender then Clarke. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Luongo's Bringing a Lot to Us at 16:34:46
I hope we keep him, he looks class. For me, of the January signings he and Broadhead are the two players that have added the most to the team. I don't think we're missing Evans now. |
| News Comment | Town Confirm Ahadme Signing at 20:59:37
It looks likely that we've picked him up for a fee very similar to the one we've received for Simpson. Given that Gas has scored goals at this level, that must point to it being a very good bit of business. |
| News Comment | Manager Cook Sacked at 19:31:47
Law of averages suggest that we'll appoint a good manager soon. |
| News Comment | Blues Break iFollow Record at 18:43:14
I watched the game on iFollow but through the Wycombe website. Last season I watched a number of away games and on some occasions there was no commentary so chose this option for Tuesday night's match so as to guarantee sound as well. It was interesting to hear it from a Wycombe perspective but have to say that both the commentator and pundit were very fair and full of praise for Town's performance both on the pitch and in the stands. |
| News Comment | Cook Confirms Reid Joining Coaching Team at 09:38:17
I don't have a problem with Reid but I would like to have seen an experienced coach appointed that would be alongside Cook on the touchline. Feel he needs someone to advise him during matches when things are not going well. Good to see another wise football head sitting on Reid's right (left as we look) in the form of Peter Over in the Director's Box. |
| News Comment | Chambers Signs New Deal at 12:38:58
I hope that this doesn't limit Woolfenden's chances next year, but strongly suspect that it will. Had been looking forward to a Woolfenden/Nsiala pairing in central defence. |
| News Comment | Walters Ruled Out of Ireland Friendly at 20:50:05
Seem to remember reading somewhere that Walters and Harry Arter had a training ground altercation with Keane last week. It will be interesting to see whether Arter has withdrawn from the squad so as to be able to 'work on his fitness'. |
| News Comment | Sunderland Emerge as Rivals for Ross at 17:01:24
It's unfortunate that the media have bigged up Ross as they have. There are plenty of other capable candidates, some of whom have hardly got a mention. Personally I'd go for Paul Tisdale, he has a mightily impressive cv from over a long period of time. |
