I feel that Mick so far this season has been a victim of his own success. Given how well we did last season, spending next to nothing on the squad and finishing 6th, many of us, me included, felt we would push on and be a real force this season so far though, that's obviously not been the case. Key players such as Murphy and Berra have not hit the heights of last year which has really affected us I feel. Plus the loss of Mings. However I feel that most of us are more annoyed at the fact that he continues to pick his favourites (Smith, Gerkin) when they both need to be dropped, and plays chambers out of position when really we need to change it around because it's clearly not working for us. It's also very frustrating to hear him say that every team we play is quality and they'll be right up there come the end of the season, which really isn't helping him. conceding so late in the game is really disappointing and a smash and grab at a ground we have an awful record at really would of kick started our season. The one thing with Mick that really annoys me though is his negative tactics. Hoofball is horrible to watch as are the very defensive tactics we play as soon as we go a goal up. Sure we weren't moaning loads about this last season, but then we massively over archived last year so we weren't going to be complaining. However for now, I still believe Mick will turn this around for us and that come the end of the season, we'll be up there towards the top of the table. COYB! |
