I haven't lived in Ipswich since 1987 when I was just 2 years old. I was born there, as was my mother. I have been back since of course - most recently I took my wife, daughter, and wife's mother to England last summer. It never occured to me to support anyone else. I had Town shirts as a kid as once I was old enough to take interest in sports I naturally gravitated towards Ipswich and quickly fell in love - desipte the fact I have never really seen any incredible periods of success. ITID. My 5 year old daughter is a tractor girl, as well. |

It was 2016 when I was there last. He was at the Hollywood Studios park - perhaps he is still there? |

I did try a bit, but he didn't seem keen to tell me, so I relented. This gentleman was older, in his 60s at least. If his grandfather played for Town, it must have been ages ago. [Post edited 6 Aug 2019 23:53]

I was at Disney World in Orlando, Florida waiting in line for a photo op with Kylo Ren, when a older gentleman wearing an Imperial officer's uniform spots my Ipswich kit and exclaims "Ipswich Town! My grandfather played for Ipswich town!". I asked who his grandfather was and he assured me it was long ago and that I would not know him. Still, pretty cool that a member of the Empire had a grandfather play for Ipswich. |

This exactly. My company is packing up the European offices in London and heading to Ireland. I wont name it, but its a large financial player. I live in the USA now, but FWIW I would have voted Remain. |

Paul Lambert being here is the single thread of hope that I am hanging on to in regards to the future of our club. We are lucky to have him here right now, indeed. |
| Forum Thread | Bringing the Family to Ipswich in May... Advice? at 19:50 18 Oct 2018
Hello everyone, Its been quite a long time since I have been back to Ipswich (England entirely, for that matter). My wife and daughter have never been, but we finally identified a time in which we can all make the trip - unfortunately however, there will not be any Town games to see as it will be in late May. We are staying in London but we are taking a day trip out to Ipswich and I am looking for some ideas as to what I could do with them. Portman Road doesn't have a tour for the time we will be there. I am thinking of taking them up to Sutton Hoo, anyone here have any advice? Edit: my daughter is 4. Thanks! [Post edited 18 Oct 2018 19:55]

| Forum Reply | Orlando : Disney tickets at 23:01 24 Sep 2018
Living in the US its not often that I actually get to give any relevant advice to this community in regards to travel destinations, but Disney/Orlando is something I know a good deal about! As far as good sites to buy tickets, unfortunately, I am not as much help. I am in the US military (part-time) and as such get pretty good (read: excellent) rates on Disney tickets. However if you are in need of other information regarding Orlando/Disney give me a shout. |

I’m playing my second season with Town, and I have a youth academy product who is going to be world class. His name is Hugh Hughes, a striker. He is a tower, and has a cannon for a leg. Currently 17 years old and rated 73. [Post edited 13 Nov 2017 19:28]
