Veseli Deal Confirmed
at 16:20:13

Very pleased about this signing. Whilst he'll have to prove himself, he is already endearing himself to the Town fans with the comments he's made. I think we're only a couple of new players off having an extremely competitive squad. I just hope we're able to grind out a few points at what looks a tough start to the fixture list early in the season.

Interesting blog on Freddy from the Man Utd perspective as well:

Clegg: Keane Under No Additional Pressure
at 16:26:35

WarkOn - I think you should change your name to JogOn!

Stop taking the press so literally, Keane came out and said those comments were tongue in cheek.

Calm down and have some faith, this is nothing like the Clive Woodward situation and Keane was appointed by Clegg and ME as he took a Championship club from the bottom of the league to the Premiership - we'll be fine and Keane will turn it around.

Last night the team started to look like it was gelling and it was an individual mistake from RW that cost us the three points. Even the Sheff Utd management said we out played them and they were pleased to get a point - not many teams will have that said about them when they play a Bramell Lane.

Get behind the team and players - if we all support the team and manager at the games and after the games, the confidence will come and we will climb the league quickly I'm sure.

Would love to see this happen, but got a feeling this is more paper talk than substance?

FA Write to Keane
at 13:05:30

Yorksblue - We've played three games and it hasn't been the start we've all been anticipating, but you're already comparing Keane to Robson???? You are the clown! I don't think you appreciate how much he did for Sunderland. They would certainly not be where they are now without him (and that was his first job, so you could say he is still learning his trade).

I personally thought it was unfair the way the fans turned on Magilton and a disgrace the way the local media hounded him out, but I can see the other side of the coin in which the fans had become impatient as he had three years in the job. However for you pass judgment and abuse Keane after 3 games of the new season is pathetic. I'm afraid it's you who speaks garbage!

Former Celtic Striker Linked
at 12:01:14

Get this fella in now! He would destroy at this level. Is getting a bit slow, but has plenty of power, heading ability and knows where the back of the net is. Hesselink and Stead/Priskin would be enough to get the season going with a bang. Come on keano, lets make it happen before the Cov game and show the league we're serious players this year!
