| News Comment | Dozzell: Dalian Was Unplayable on His Day at 20:17:01
Shocking news, I was fortunate enough to watch him play visiting Portman Road in 1987 or 1988 from Germany, very promising player then, unfortunately left relatively soon for Sheffield Wednesday. Will always be remembered by me. R.I.P. Dalian :-( |

You could combine Düsseldorf´s game with a visit of the 2.Bundesliga match between 1.FC Köln and Hertha BSC Berlin, which takes place in nearby Cologne on the following day (Sunday) at 13.30 local time. In both stadiums a really good atmosphere is guaranteed. Just a recommendation. |

@Scribble: I thought I made it quite clear that I don´t rate him as a player that much - either at Cologne or possibly at Ipswich. Both, Cologne and Ipswich, are playing on the same level (2. Division), therefore my remarks also applied to him as an Ipswich target. Yes, he did play in the Bundesliga but wasn´t one of the better players in the team and generally tends to be a bit shaky. It´s true that Pezzoni mainly played as a defensive midfielder at Cologne which suited him more than the position of a CB. I doubt that he would help us at Ipswich in that area. I would have preferred Delaney there. Let´s wait and see how PJ rates him. He´s the expert ;-) |

@wokingblue Pezzoni is definately NOT a good player and there are only a few moron fans at Köln, which is embarrissing enough for me - especially as a Köln fan. Even some details in the article are not correct. The carnival incident had nothing to do with him as a footballer, there was a private thing behind that. Due to his clumsy playing style and his many costly mistakes over the last few seasons he wasn´t a fans favourite. His last games were absolutely terrible. That of course is no reason to treat him like those stupid hooligans did. |

Shocking news that is. Besides Ipswich I support my hometown club FC Cologne and I can only give PJ the following advice: Wish him well and look elsewhere. Pezzoni was the weakest link in Cologne´s defence and unfortunately has been mobbed by many so-called supporters in recent weeks. That´s why his contract was terminated last week to give him a new chance elsewhere - but please not at Ipswich. |
| News Comment | Town Topic: Good Luck Connor at 19:25:20
Good luck from Germany, Connor! Will probably visit die Black Cats Training Camp near Hannover in 2 weeks time to say hello ;-). I will be the guy wearing a black ITFC Polo Shirt. I think Sunderland is the right club and Steve Bruce the right manager to make your next step in a hopefully successful career. All the best for the future! |
| News Comment | Fülöp a Doubt for West Brom Quarter-Final at 09:41:20
@alfromcol: Thanks for your comment. At least this season Fulop has- from what I have seen - some problems regarding high balls in the box. He is a decent keeper but I think you could have a keeper of the same quality for less money. Just my opinion. |

Exciting signing! The Trinidad connection Edwards/Scotland could do the trick for us. Good luck at Portman Road! |
