Absolutely no foul throw for the goal for me.
Common misunderstanding about throws is that the feet must be behind the line. In fact, both feet can be on the pitch almost entirely with just the heels touching the line and it'd be fine.
Foul throw that was given as such was a correct call.
However, there were defo more than a couple of baffling decisions yet again. |

My biggest gripe was that there appeared to be no veggie pies. If there were then they must have gone very quickly and been too few.
I had to sit watching my mate eat two steak pies (plus a third freebie on the way out) whilst I chewed gum. It's a tragic reality for me that I'd been looking forward to that pie all week!
All in all, really good value at £6 though. Hopefully the first of many. |

Lots of people don't realise that any child (5-15 years) can travel any return journey on Greater Anglia for just £2 when accompanied with a fare paying adult. So your kids would defo be a £2 fare each from LST-IPS. However these are only available from real people i.e. in ticket offices, not online or at the machines.
Furthermore, it's worth checking if that offer extends the length of the country. 5 years ago I went to Blackpool and back with my 2 girls and they were £2 each for the whole journey!
However, you won't then be able to use your railcard when just purchasing the adult ticket. Maths isn't my strong point but it's worth playing around with it as you could still buy an adult and child ticket using the railcard then get a £2 ticket. Worth speaking to your local ticket office I'd suggest.
Furthermore, if you don't already have tickets for that game my adult and an under 19 season tickets are going spare. Cobbold upper. Bang on half way. Will be noisy next to the away fans. |

I agree with poster above. In short, cats are ar$eholes.
Our family cat is a lap cat. The kids adore him. He's just the most affectionate cat and does everything you describe of your neighbours' cat. Some new woman a few doors away was feeding him better food than we can afford and he went AWOL for 3 weeks.
I politely asked her to stop, and he eventually returned but turned his nose up at our cheap offerings....until he realised it was that or nothing.
Now he just mopes around and honestly is a different cat. It feels like he's just waiting for a better offer.
They're not loyal creatures. They're totally selfish! |

I did work experience with Suffolk Police in the mid 90's. Out on patrol as a spotty 16 year old with an officer and attended a call to an intruder alarm at Sir Bobby's house. Think he was managing Porto at the time so house was not occupied. No intruder but wandered around his house with my jaw dragging on the floor mainly because of the memorabilia and photos he had on display, but also in awe of how big and beautiful it was.
After a night out in Chicago's one Thursday night (all you could drink for £12 IIRC) me and 2 mates scaled the fence/gate that used to stand at the corner of the Cobbold and North stand. My mate pushed me around the pitch in a wheelchair that was near the players' tunnel. Meanwhile the third mate took a dump in the away dugout. He wasn't a town fan and we fell out over it.
Not proud of my actions but after too many WKD Blue's to count it seemed like a great idea at the time. |

You're not the first poster to paint a picture of contented, care free animals living out their lives on limitless green pastures, spared the indignity of death at 'the end of their natural life' by being euthanized and used for meat.
Natural lifespan VS Age at Slaughter:
Pigs: 12 years............. 6 months.
Cows: 20 years............. 1.5 years.
Chickens: 8 years....... 6 WEEKS.
Lambs: 12 years........... 6-8 months.
Shocking enough even before you look at the egg and dairy industry. |

I struggle with the abuse of any animal, I don't see that as a weakness and it is not something I need to deal with. It's about what is moral and right.
I choose not to abuse animals or pay to have them abused and killed.
I'm not telling you how to feel, think or react. The fact that you're turning this onto me demonstrates that the message is indisputable. When this is so, the messenger becomes the target.
Anyway, no ill feeling intended. |

I'm not saying it's exactly the same thing, but the vast majority of people blubbing about this cat are wilfully ignorant and complicit in much worse abuse of other animals.
But don't let that indisputable fact get in the way of your indignation over this incident. I just wish people could join the dots and be honest about their hypocrisy. |

I accept that I've shoehorned my point into this a little, but it's not a completely different subject. The subject was about animal abuse, and quite rightly people are aghast.
I was pointing out the mass hypocrisy associated with that.

Awful human being. Poor cat.
However, the abuse dealt to that cat doesn't compare to what a good majority of factory farmed animals go through, all sentient creatures, many of which are more intelligent than cats.
The hypocrisy of millions of self proclaimed 'animal lovers' towards this subject is staggering.
I'm expecting plenty of hate and that's fine. But any negative reactions are borne out of the inability to form any rational or moral defence, because none exist. Cognitive dissonance is in full flow. You're totally against animal abuse, except when it suits you.
Watch Dominion on YouTube, at least watch what animals endure for your 5 minutes of taste pleasure.

If the ball had been played by an opposition player then advantage cannot be played. Our free kick can't be taken by them!
However, I think the touch by both players was simultaneous so it's fair game and nothing less than that cheating bunch of thugs deserved. |

Yes, the 00 and 30 are Lst-Nrw trains so will be mostly Intercity (1st and buffet) sets or if you are unlucky, the Stansted sets (no 1st, tables, buffet). Checking the app will show if there's catering/1st class available. If not, it's a crappy Stansted set.
The 02 out of Lst terminates at Ipswich. |
