I've been a True Blue since '72 , and a season ticket holder in SBR Lower for many years .... but my heart sank when I saw the line up for last night's match and I expected the worst. Norwood's goal did lift my spirits, but we soon reverted to 'same old, same old'. By the end I just couldn't be bothered one way or the other.
If ITFC lose fans like me, the future for them looks dire!

Just got home from the game ..... it's like watching a dear old friend die a slow, lingering, painful death.
I still visit him every couple of weeks ... He sits up in bed then smiles and chats, but after an hour he just falls into a fitfull slumber with memories of years ago.
He's been a good friend for over 45 years, but the outlook isn't good.
I'll be glad when it's all over and he's in a happier place. It's very sad indeed ! |

As a true fan for over 47 years I never thought I'd ever feel so relieved to see the back of any Ipswich manager or player .... but the FA cup games against Lincoln and the months since then, were the final straws for me. I'll not be crying any tears for MM when he leaves as I've shed them all thinking of the damage he's done to my beloved Ipswich Town .... " Good riddance to you and everything about you! ". |

Like many others on this site I have had enough. I feel as if i've been ground into the mud by the club that I've supported for over 40 years. I just cannot face any more of ME, IM & MM destroying the last scraps of credibility that ITFC still has and will not be renewing my ST until MM has gone. Sad days indeed . |
