Loving the fact that his wife is the Pink Power Ranger in the movie coming out this year. I can see some good 'bants' on the training field. Best of luck Jordan! Now, how about a striker..? |

Excellent news. Just hope we put on a good show and this doesn't put undue pressure on the team or affect our 'under the radar' status. Looking forward to Mick's pre-match interview already though! |

Hi Robbie. Agree. It often depends on personal view, aim of the business and so on. If people are worried, opt out. If they're not bothered, don't worry. If it saves ITFC a few bob on marketing or poorly performing products (if only they could do the same with players so easily!) then hopefully that means more money for new players. |

@tractaboy - No, that's the marketing company he started up with his share of the pirate treasure. @Blueray - spot on. Nothing out of the norm and maybe a good thing for all. |
| News Comment | Town Sign Data Deal at 14:44:34
Hi guys. I work for a large data intelligence company. What ITFC are doing here is no different to what happens when you go to Tesco, Amazon and so on. By linking your purchasing habits across ITFC products and services to some simple information about you (normally age, sex and so on) they can actually reduce the amount of contact they make with you (like direct mail, emails and so on) to ensure that it is of more interest to you. A lot of the work they will do will probably be annonamised (they will remove your name and just use Age, Sex, Town etc) and use all of the data about 'groups' of supporters to produce products and marketing materials to appeal to those 'groups'. Obviously, if you are uncomfortable with this, you can opt out and they will have to abide by the Data Protection Act to ensure that your data is used proportionally and for a purpose that is of benefit to you. If you're worried, head over to http://www.ico.org.uk/ for more guidance on this kind of stuff but what ITFC are doing is perfectly normal. Think about the offers you get from Tesco each month. How many of the products have you bought before? How many are of interest? Tesco do a good job of using customer data to target relevant offers that benefit you and them. When this stuff is done properly, it's normally win-win. |

Nice to see ITFC doing what many clubs fail to do; trying to offer value themselves rather than blaming someone else for sky high prices and commiting to use profits for the good of the team. Fingers crossed it all works out - it sounds good! |

More importantly, QPR have released Danny Shittu. Can someone let PJ know? Free central defender, proven class at this level.. |

Offer them half of what we offered last week and give them 24 hours to say yes. We're running out of time in this window so need to act quickly. |
| News Comment | Half-Season Tickets On Sale at 18:48:45
blowsey and haynesie, some interesting points. I've not actually made any games yet this season so can't really comment on the quality of the football. However, I have spoken to other supporters who go to games regularly and one season ticket holder in particular has already told me that he won't be renewing next year. He's had a season ticket for well over a decade now. It's a sad state of affairs and I can only hope that PJ gets the support he needs to build a team. Remember: George Burley didn't do it in one season (admittedly, he had a heck of a lot less money). I must wonder if putting more faith in youth could help? GB brought a lot of good young players through and we have another good crop now. Let's get 'safe' and then properly blood them this season so they're ready for next year. Add a couple of good experienced defenders and next year could be better. Have faith! Maybe worth choosing your games better though or just watching them on Swedish TV when you can.. I know a good pub for that in London. |

Yes! Get some defenders in now and we should surely be OK. One question, where is the 'Duke' Ellington? |
