| Forum Reply | Sake… pinkun reporting he’s been sacked, or to be very shortly at 11:33 17 May 2024
Sara has great stats this season, which is why he seems to appear in all the divisional teams of the season, but every time I have seen him play he has been pretty meh (against us twice, Leeds last night and Leicester). I hate Sainz's attitude, but he always seemed more effective. Someone else can do the analysis - is Sara your classic flat track bully? |

The issue for me is that their front four may not be on the pitch (at the same time). I worry that Farke is over-thinking it - certainly seemed to set up for a point at their place with three across the middle. he should stick to his principles and the damn will break... On another matter, I dont get why there was not more made of Duffy playing in the last game - I just cannot see any excuse for picking him. Karma would suggest that they get absolutely smashed tonight for that selection alone (pun not intended). |

Do you think the “get rid of it” crowd will put that in the goals conceded from launching it column? |
| Forum Reply | Wrexham plans to build a 55k-seater stadium at 21:49 13 May 2024
Did they actually specify that the stadium would be in Wrexham - or indeed anywhere near Wrexham? Might they build it in Wrexham Avenue, Ohio? |

Downes was excellent. But who else had forgotten Ross Stewart had gone to Southampton? The resources at that club - wow.... if you could get him fit consistently, could he be the illusive Hirst back up? |

He is not that out and out striker, but I think they missed Bamford. They were also playing with three in the middle and it just didn't seem to click initially and meant they were lightweight up top - Gnonto and Sumerville are no giants. Rumours of Barnes back for Thursday - suspect that might be a good thing for Norwich. |

I also think that if you consider his trajectory during his time at PR, the player at the end of the period contributed so much more than the one at the beginning of the loan spell - so you can't really take an average over his time. Am sure that there will be other options out there that McKenna can mould to his requirements, but he made a great impression. |
| Forum Reply | Who was the best player we faced this season? at 11:16 13 May 2024
I dont know enough about the way they have played this season, but I suspect yesterday was one of only a few times when they put three in midfield - can't have helped any of the front players who are used to flooding forwards in numbers - Rutter included. |

I wonder if anyone in Norwich is aware of where that yellow and green emoji that they all use came from - do they think apple came up with it to help Norwich fans decorate their messages? If they had travelled beyond Thetford, they would realise that 🔰 is actually a sign used in Japan to denote someone who is recently qualified - so someone who has just passed their driving test will have this sign on their car (like our green P), or someone who has started their first job as a waiter might have this badge. |
| Forum Reply | Lathe Latt at 18:17 9 May 2024
Am I going to get pinged for pointing out that I think the comment related to Toney, not Latte... But back to the original post - completely agree. I dont think Boro were as organised upfront as we are, but he definitely put the work in to press, he looks physically up to it, and of course he scored. Would be delighted. Not sure if he was the best of the Championship strikers we came up against though - I thought Delap was decent and would likely be a good fit as well. Haji Wright worth considering - isn't he out of position for Cov? I am not as keen on Sargeant - and not just because he is Norwich. Left field suggestion - Tom Cannon at Leicester - got very little game time but on the evidence of the previous season when he was playing more he was meant to be decent - may only be championship level though - could be back up |

yup, the last thing that lot needed was a coach like Mowbray who has a record for bringing through younger players.... Bellingham was clearly being played out of position at PR, but his touch looked pretty good and as you say, he could easily become a bit of a unit. He may always have that unfortunate comparison with his brother, but on taken in isolation he looks a pretty good prospect. I am sure our manager could find the right role for him. |

Isn't Downes on loan at Southampton from West Ham? So the question is then whether he is a Lopetegui type of player? I have no idea the answer to that one... |

I think Al Hamadi is the incumbent in the “raw young bolter” berth, and that is before we get to Ahadme |

This has had no reaction from anyone else - is that because it is understood generally to be true (and I haven't heard it because I live under a rock), because no-one has read the comment, or because no-one wants to consider this painful possibility? |
| Forum Reply | Moment of the season... at 15:43 6 May 2024
yes, Sarmiento's was the one I was thinking of being contrary and saying that the standing ovation that Hladky got from all round the ground in the Plymouth home game in the second half when he made a couple of astonishing saves was the most extraordinary but Sarmiento v Southampton has to be the one that will forever live in the memory |

I think that is the point - his job is self publicity - it is what his sport is all about. The promotional antics these fellas get up to to generate interest are crucial to them to enable them to sell tickets, which helps them train to the levels they get to. I wouldn't be too judgemental about it. No way would I have the self confidence to stand in a ring and have some other bloke try and knock me unconscious while trying to do the same to him, but the sort of person who does is rarely good at blending into the background in any circumstances. TBH, it's not for me, but it is what it is |
