Malarcyk should never be anywhere near the squad ever again on that showing. Felt sorry for sears, lumped at him from 40 yards against 2 monster centre halves. Dozzell at least showed willing and some nice touches. But totally bereft of quality, especially in the final third.

Solid & effective today i thought. Fulham had zero cutting edge. Murphy is immense, even with his back to goal he holds off 2 + defenders time & again.
Superb away support, fulham fans around me shouting 'change it Kit'. After 15 mins! their fans noise was non existent, just moaning and groaning.
Great result away from home, if I was being super picky, they seemed so low on confidence, If we'd really had a go at them first half we could have been out of sight by half time, they really were there for the taking. But that doesn't really seem our style, just hold it steady and keep it tight. Mick know's best i guess.

we can't get a permanent replacement until the summer, its pointless and costly to get a loanee in now.

i'm intrigued by all the people saying buy these quality players asap, unfortunately - seems to me that why would any of them want to come and play for us! much as it saddens me we need to get real!!! |
