Nixon reporting McKenna’s fee has gone up…

Pretty sure he would have received a fat bonus and also an improved contract automatically as part of promotion.

Brighton sideways move?
at 11:20 20 May 2024

You didnt read what I posted.

They are not bigger just they have had several years of premiership money and been well run in that time which equals better facilities / players etc.

We are more than capable of doing the same and will surpass them all as on a level playing field we are a bigger club than Brighton period.

Posh revenue incoming for Taylor. Can the midfielder step up to the Premiership?

Taylor is the more likely of any of our current midfielders to make the step up.

Brighton sideways move?
at 22:10 18 May 2024

Brighton are not bigger than us, in fact I would say we are a far bigger club but they have had success over the last 10 years or so.

Ditto Fulham, Brentford, Bournemouth, Palace.

Success with Premiership money does not make you a big club just means you have a massive advantage over everyone not in the Premiership. That will be us in a few years.

Omari - will he sign?
at 16:15 16 May 2024

Thing is if we could get him for anything close to 15mill his would probably sell for double that in a couple of years.

Chelsea paid 3mill in compensation for him.

Agree its annoying and should not be at the expense of any town fans but his Vlog was actually very good tbh even if he is a bit of a nob.

Chelsea paid 5m from Arsenal Academy.

No reason we cannot do the same for other promising players?

Home Ticket Priority
at 09:27 8 May 2024

Agree as a season ticket holder that the window to buy tickets is not required and should go to general sale but pretty sure there will be enough members next year it would never actually make general sale.

The away points system I cannot see changing and will continue to be a closed market to those already on high points which really is the only way to do it and reward those who regularly travel. Whether the club can police who is actually attending on the tickets is another issue altogether.

The outrage when the club have to move 800 fans
at 09:12 8 May 2024

20k season tickets, 3k away fans leaves approx 6k for matchday.

I am guessing the Cobbold holds about 6k so the numbers tally up. Upper tier in Cobbold holds 5K I know that much.

So…
at 11:25 7 May 2024

Burgess as a backup absolutely not.

He will be one of the first names on the team sheet.

And no way Taylor will be loaned and is one of the players who will be able to make the step up as is still young.

I am the same but the club may change the way away tickets are allocated.

Maybe they will but then a lot of people will be paying 40 quid for not a very good chance of a ticket if they sell say 15k or so to non season ticket holders.

Wont affect me as have a season ticket and a healthy number of away points but surely there will be a window for current members to renew. Unless they don't cap it that is.

No idea

Memberships

With the expected scramble for member ships for next season how will the club play this?

Will they restrict the total number?
Will they allow a window for existing members to renew before any general sale?

Would be a gutter if current members missed out due to the expected avalanche of potential new members.
