| News Comment | Town Advice to Fans Travelling to Norwich at 18:51:42
The Police won't be on overtime, their rest days would have been cancelled months ago or they would choose officers already working that day. Otherwise the cost for them is massive because the police normally tend to only get any form of payment from clubs for how many officers that are inside the ground. People shouldnt be moaning about being treated like so called cattle. For one if you didnt want to be treated this way you wouldnt go. Secondly the only reason its like this is that throughout the years the small minority of idiots ruin it for the majority. If there was no trouble at football inspite of rivalries then this type of policing wouldnt happen. But its a part of football so if you're going sunday have a drink enjoy the game and cheer us on (hopefully to victory) why worry about everything else? |
| News Comment | Pablo the FA Cup Hero at 21:53:35
Such a shame that someone who played in over 200 games for town and scored over 50 goals aswell, and for the most part for a club going through big transitions at the time, that some mornoic fans still find it funny to belittle players like this. Well done Pablo and as always, all the best wherever your future lies. |

Phil, I thought we won at Molineux around 98' season with David Johnson and Scowie getting amonst the goals? |
| News Comment | Points Haul Highlight of McCarthy's First Month at 20:35:56
I think the Forest game is the biggest confidence booster. Beating a side far higher than us and pushing for the playoffs. Ok it wasn't pretty but as others have said who cares how we play results are all that matter right now. The defeats against Palace and Leicester were just indicative of the players attitudes, feelings towards each other and levels of personal and team confidence. That appears to be changing. That may involve shipping out the bad eggs come January but if it means staying up and rebuilding the club thats what needs to be done. In Mick I trust and COYB. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Hurt By Hammering at 19:46:20
I went yesterday. And went for a pint at 27 mins, then another at half time, then without going back up for the second half I went to a pub round the corner, and we had a much better time than actually watching that dross! Embarassing times, all Mick has to do is keep us in touch with survival til January and he can then put his mark on the squad and hopefully remove the pathetic wasters who couldn't give two s#]ts about this club. If I were Mick I'd spread the word about them too so they don't get similar contracts elsewhere and have to drop down a division!!! |
| News Comment | Orr Keen on Permanent Switch at 17:35:21
Everything he said suggests that the club has been sold in a much better light than before. Maybe Mick has asked to have a much more forward role in the process behind signings? Equally it's been a while since a loan signing has made a comment about genuinely wanting a permanent move, rather than just wanting to get some game time and get fit. Great news, welcome to the club, think with signings like this we could become a difficult team to beat at least. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Set to Be Named New Town Boss at 20:31:31
Some previous comments have said how McCarthy is comparable in ways to Keane in his approach and management style. Difference for me is that McCarthy is similar in a way but is far more proven in knowing what he's doing and talking about, whereas Keane we all know made some very poor decisions costing the club dearly. I'm pleased if this happens. I was saying to friends today the one thing I feel i've lost as a supporter since Evans bought the club, is a lack of connection with the club. Little to no ex players involved at the club in the right places etc. But with Holland potentially being involved I couldn't be happier. Someone who knows what our expectations will be. Someone who can explain to the new boss how great this club can be when things go right, and equally that should he just show us a team that will give 100 percent effort all the time, we'll still be proud to be supporters of this Football Club, even in defeat. COYB. |
| News Comment | Cambridge 0-2 Town at 22:51:08
Been told by an insider that the squad is the fittest its looked for years, esp chopra who apparently is looking like he's stepped up several gears and can't do anything wrong training wise, and JET app too. Hope its true. COYB. |
| News Comment | Jewell Disappointed With Untypical Performance at 23:36:48
This website is Hilarious. Poor performance, yup. Fans with short memories, most definately. This club is. now built on a generation of fans who's earlier memories are based on us finishing fifth and getting into europe. Then theres the generation of fans who remember the 5/6 yrs of frustration after relegation from the premier league in '95 and finally winning promotion. Then theres the older bunch who went from watching one of europes best club sides to witness a near on collapse of a great side. Stop pretending we deserve better just because we have a rich owner. What does he owes other than stabilising a football club? Onwards and upwards and hopefully fans will turn up next season and just try, just try and make encouraging sounds rather than pathetic moans, forgetting how we were dreadful earlier in the season, before outplaying some of the leagues best. Have a little faith or sod off. |
| News Comment | Reading Linked With Bullard Move at 09:05:52
I'm happy for him to be loaned, just so it'll stop the annoying idiot who sits near me and boo's his every touch and shouts negative chants at him, on his own! In all seriousness, would rather keep him, but wouldn't be the end of the world what with the depth we have in that position at the moment. |
| News Comment | Chopra Apologises to Cardiff Fans at 12:15:57
A great performance and so refreshing to see a bit of harmony amongst our players aswell! Nice to see them actually coming over to the North Stand and applauding the fans, something I think squads of late have lacked a litte. Just shows they appreciate people turning out, and should do this win lose or draw. A difficult couple of weeks coming up though so I hope people maintain a bit of realism. We've beaten a couple of decent sides in the last couple of weeks, but we've got Brighton and Soton away and Hull to contend with aswell within the next four games. Those ones won't be easy but with the team playing the way they are at the moment who knows! I obviously would want a Town win at Brighton but in reality I think I'd still be satisfied with a point there and a point at Soton aswell followed up with a win against Bristol City. COYB. |

League one here we come! Yes i know this was a cup game but I just can't see us staying up at this rate. |
| News Comment | Magilton Linked With Move Down Under at 19:57:10
Embarassing to read people slating Magilton. Like him or not he's been a great servant to our once great club. The club dispatched of him like no club should, I wish him all the best. |
| News Comment | Jewell Left Feeling Sick After Second Late Defeat at 19:00:33
Bored of this tripe now, and it is tripe. Of the six goals conceded in the last two games now 5 have been headers and four have come beyond the last 5 minutes of a game. I'm a fan of giving managers a chance but this is just getting ridiculous now. Evans just needs to get someone with some real pedigree in. Someone who has been consistent throughout and works well in the transfer market. Lord help us but I see us in the bottom three come end of the year. |
