There is more to it than that. He had no sign on fee and they didn’t pay anything for him bar 3 million costs incurred for an unstated reason. Spread that over the 4 years and it’s not really a bad deal for Juve, think he is a decent player..

However I imagine it will open the floodgates for the likes of Hazard or Pogba for example who on face value are ‘bigger’ and better players, to really go for it when they negotiate their new contracts regardless.

Yeah just a really good finish from a player who’s full of confidence at the minute considering how many he’s been banging in.

Far from ‘clearly’ primary/first choice targets. I’d imagine quite a few players ruled out due do high loan fees/what we were willing to pay.

I thought he had a decent game too actually. Without being too negative if it’s where we end up, think he will be a good player in L1.

Superb performance today, been lucky to have him this season despite how it’s gone.
