If you read any of my posts on this, or any other topic, you will see that I have never accused anyone of racism. I also take deep exception to Daleyitfc's comments as it happens. You'll all, no doubt, be delighted to know that I won't be making any more comments on TWTD. I have my reasons for disliking Lee Bowyer - but those reasons are for me to know and you to surmise. No No No !! Does anyone want to buy my ITFC shares? I feel like throwing them into the local recycling bin. Oh yes - I'll have the usual replies of 'good riddance' and will also have my allegiance to ITFC questioned. OK - you may have a right to question how much of an ITFC fan I am. I will only say that the first match I saw was Ipswich v Torquay in the 1950s when we won 6 - 0. And I have followed them through thick and thin since. Do we really want a player with the character of Bowyer at our club? I don't think so. I'd rather be back in the 3rd division south than have this man play in our shirt. |

tractorboy2434 - I'm with you on this. townietilidie - well, we've all met/read about apologists just like you. 'He was found not guilty'. Yes, well OK - he was on that offence. But his record off the field speaks for itself. There is no room at this club for a 'man' like Lee Bowyer - strewth! do we really crave promotion that much?
As for townietilidie calling those of us who have principles 'idiots' - well that just shows the strength of his argument. Having to revert to verbally abusing those who hold different opinions from his again shows the depth of his argument. I won't even say I pity you for your lack of debating skill [or your wonderful command of the English language and grammar] because that would bring me right down to your level now wouldn't it .... |

He's just 18 years old. I can just about remember when I was that age. I feel sorry for the lad - he's been ill advised. It would have been much, much better for him [let alone us, the club] to have waited a year or even two. I can only hope that Bruce treats him well and doesn't exploit him. He is, after all, just a boy. Good luck Connor - with luck and good guidance the world is at your feet.
For us, the Club. Players come and players go. We're still Bobby Robson's Blue and White Army - ITFC regardless. |
