This comment isn't going to go down a storm, but some fans really need to start getting realistic and stop blaming McCarthy for low attendances. The vast majority of fans are unbelievable fickle. MM has worked on one of the lowest budgets and to put us in a position where we've been 6th, 7th etc he was owed a poor season. We're never going to play fantastic football, we don't have the budgets to bring these kind of players in.
We all need to start enjoying the position that we find ourselves out. We've won 5/7 league games and if anything are massively overachieving. Wins breed confidence and with alot of first team players yet to return things can only improve. |

Some fans on here are moronic and contradictory . Another defeat and its all doom and gloom again. YAAWNNNN.
Mick McCarthy is the best manager we've had at this club for the last decade. He's turned a team rotting at the bottom of the table to play off contenders in just over two years without spending a penny. How can you 'fans' expect to win every game? It doesn't happen....
Bournemouth lost today, Middlesborough lost today and Derby were fortunate to turn it around at Wednesday and we are still FOURTH in the league.
I can't wait to read all the posts on Tuesday night when we beat Birmingham and the same fans slagging us off today will be posting how amazing we are again.
