Absolutely. I can't believe how many people are talking like it's a done deal.
Get the point first, THEN do all the celebrating you want.
It's not negativity, it's just common sense.

Personally, I think he (unsurprisingly) struggled for the first half hour. Grew into it though, and was looking good before he was subbed.
I think Moore was definitely back to his best. Won headers, held up well, decent skill.
Hurst is a better long-term bet, but I'd start Moore Tuesday and bring Hurst on later. |

I'm most proud of England being a place where people are very "meh" about celebrating nationalism and xenophobia.
I LOVE our ambivalence to all the pseudo-nation-state bollox.
But hey, if people want to let our their angst and hate by having a scrap, they're going to go wherever they need to find one. |

I think - before long - we'll have two seasons per calendar year: Aug to mid-Dec, then a break, then mid-Jan to May.
That way, there would be twice as many crucial 'Games of the Century' for Sky to hype up, more 'success' for the Big Clubs and a nice little winter break so clubs can play irrelevant - but lucrative -matches in random, oil-rich parts of the world. |
