Which is worst for the club? McCarthy getting hassle of a 100 fans who watch the games or the 1000s who've stopped going because of him.Players may have wanted him to stay but they can't have enjoyed playing in an empty stadium surely!
He reminded me of Titus Bramble in the way he always had a couple of lapses in concentration in him which usually proved costly so it's a hell of a deal 4 us especially if we don't have to sell anybody else but thank you & good luck 2 him & I hope he's a success.
I think we have got a top squad now that most other clubs would be proud of but it's not just about getting a group of "stars" to wear the shirt in my opinion.A top manager can get the best out of an average team & I think we are better than that so we will see how good a manager PJ is.I do know a new team needs time to gel but it's not the losing that upsets me cos every team duz that but it's how we lose!
I'm starting to think PJ isnt the manager I was thought he was. This should have been kept in-house & to comment on the fans clapping off LM doesn't help either. He's an experienced manager who really should know better & I think we will see how good or bad he is in the next few months(I really hope good).
I do love watching a game where there are plenty of goals but duz it always have to b us that let's them in! Now we will see how good a manager you really are PJ because things have been going wrong at this club for quite some time & you need to put a end to it(somehow).Good luck!!
Take the money & if he lives up to his expected potential good for him & us & if he doesn't we still win! Could buy Loach from Watford,St Ledger from Preston,Whittingham from Cardiff & Sharp from Donny for the amount Sunderland are prepared to pay so it seems a good deal to me.
