Goal line technology...fine, but this is a stupid idea. Managers would just use their allocated amount of challenges anyway and it would be used to time waste and fragment games further. Excellent blog indeed. After the drubbing by Peterborough, Jewell was once again talking about Bullard being a target. Whilst he is an excellent player, I'm not so sure he's going to be the answer, a stop-gap maybe. We now look a million miles away from 'a couple of additions will sort it out'.
I could kind of see what Keane was trying to achieve, but he never had the personnel to implement it. Perhaps PJ is going the same way. |

Most of those players should approach every game with the intent of 'just trying to keep the score down'......that was beyond embarrassing. Anybody that is deluding themselves and trying to blame the ref are cretins. We could have and should have lost by more. Same pony excuses as Keane....we were conceding too many at the end of last campaign and the back four is now without Macauley and frighteningly terrible. Jewells answer? ....target defenders we don't have a hope of signing. |
