OK have been putting together a list of UK comedies that reference Ipswich - either the town or the club. Any others spring to mind?
- Only Fools and Horses (Tickets for Wimbledon....v Ipswich)
- The Office (Ipswich conference)
- I'm Alan Partridge (King Road, Ipswich)
- This Country (Sam Parkin transfer)
- Here We Go (Ipswich zen retreat)
- Thick of It (usual story we break is Ipswich manager resigns)
- People Just Do Nothing (passport to go to Ipswich)
Maybe it's a key part of a comedy being any good or not... |

Cambridge would tick history and culture.
Tonnes in Suffolk though, I prefer Southwold to Aldeburgh as it has bigger, sandy beaches, the Adnams brewery and more interesting pubs and shops imho

On Town TV Ed said he was asking the club to make and release more of the black shirts, do you think there would be a new third kit on top of that? Didn't know what to make of it. |

Thought it was really excellent, easy to log in and watch. Loved Holland, Milton and Ambrose with Ed Sheeran. Great analysis too. Couldn't make the game and so it was a really enjoyable way to take it all in from home.
Obviously helped by some of the best football I have seen in 30+ years of watching Town.
Got to enjoy these times, a truly special manager and group of players - as well as everyone working so hard behind the scenes. |
