I was fooked when I got up, but rode my scooter on the Ipswich to Felixstowe vintage vehicle run. Well, what a great ride through Colchester Road, Bixley Road etc! So many ITFC flags, shirts etc, like no one wanted to change their clothes from yesterday! Waves, me just shouting’Blue Army!!’ at any groups I passed, them chanting back! Very liberating! More shirts all over Felixstowe, then I saw Sheepy, town polo shirt, shorts and trainers, just looking relaxed and happy, strangers nodding to each other, this feeling is going to last baby! |

I didn’t check in on here yesterday post match so catching up now! What a day. Great to see the young lads enjoying it to the max. I’m 59 so a nice 8pm finish for me after ending up in The Dove. Woke up at 3, but just felt great! Up at 6 with the dog, now off to vintage vehicle run via the ground to take some pics of scoot by the old place. From the train in, to the cafe for breakfast, mooching round Town before a pint, this is a feeling that only happens a few times in a football supporting life if you’re lucky. Enjoy this time everyone, we have big challenges ahead. Can’t wait. |

To Dream, The Impossible Dream! I’ve had this on since 7. I’m all in blue, style has gone out of the window, I look like a 59 year old version of my 7 year old self. I love it! The whole Euro scene seems so stage managed, little humour, but snidley violent with different laws applying to footy related arrests. No banning orders or handing in of passports . 30 years behind . Either shirts off, or all in black! How inventive, especially when the designer wear we craved in the 80’s is on their doorstep! It’s like if Andrew Tate ran football. |

I can tell on About Anglia that Becky Jago keeping her powder dry until the jobs done. Expect to see her in blue on Monday. Maybe Donovan Blake too, used to be in The Fat Cat a lot a few years back. |

2000! We had a ball down there, they were up, dunno I’d they’d been on it all week, but our win left it still possible to go up 2nd. Walsall at home, Johno scores and were in party mode, but Bradford(?) won, so Wembley it was! |

If we can get ahead, word reaches Yorkshire, Saints could pull something off. Leeds go a goal up, we’re still 0-0 at 75 minutes, nerves on edge, Leeds run up a cricket score. Two nil nils? Us going at it like Exeter, Leeds pitch invasion? All these and more going round in my head for the next 24 hours!!! |
