What people have obviously missed is that Tyrone Mings was just a couple of seats down. They'd already agreed a deal to bring him back here next season before McKenna got chatting to Southgate about how our Imminent signing Smith Rowe looked whilst with England. After the game in the bar, Tom Hanks agreed to take over from Mark Murphy. The above is all def info, the Man Utd link is just paper talk. |

I'd use the phrase less worse rather than better. But I'll no doubt vote for Labour at the next election. |

I very much doubt the two of you are acquaintances in real life? Yet you both seem to be making quite big assertions about how the other has come to their position. |

That's a pretty patronising theory to the electorate to be honest. "We don't like you and you don't like me but lets join forces, they won't remember." Makes both parties look completely spineless. |

It’s very much like comparing apples to pairs. Slightly different shape, but look, smell and taste very similar indeed. |

Why not get all of the Tories to cross the floor to Labour? Problem solved, no more Tories. Yay! |

So we now have a Labour party where Natalie Elphicke is welcome with open arms and Dianne Abbott is no longer welcome? That's me done, card in the bin, party subs cancelled. |

The western world has grown accustomed to a never ending flow of cheap consumer goods from China. Economic growth trumps human rights, everyone knows that. |

Another season long loan. When we finish 2nd again next season we'll have all of that Champions League money so will be able to afford the fee. |

It does seem to be everywhere these days, people you'd never expect to be in to it too. How anyone could've done a line before kick off on Saturday is beyond me, it would've finished me off I think. [Post edited 8 May 11:32]

I hate Leeds more than I do Norwich. There, I said it. Don’t even get me started on West Ham. |

They’ve dropped their season ticket on Mill lane in Felixstowe. I have it with me and will be getting the 10.28 train from Felixstowe. I really hope you read this. Bud. |

I've no doubt it's a huge positive for the Town as a whole, but I'd say that unless there is a significant increase in the Portman Road capacity, there aren't going to be many, if any, more people visiting the Town with us in the Premier League, and we'll play four less home fixtures. Wigan being a Premier League club never made me consider going there on holiday. [Post edited 3 May 14:22]

Given that nearly every home game this season has been a sell out, I can't see how there would be a £600 million boost to the local economy? Are we not already experiencing a boost due to the size of the crowds? |
| Forum Reply | New fans and returners at 09:26 3 May 2024
Don't you enjoy having a full stadium a lot more than sitting in a depressing half empty ground with only "die hards" in attendance? A full Portman Road is the greatest place in the world to be, why care about anything else? |
