At the risk of sounding very diplomatic...I do feel that McKenna deserves our patience. Yes we are in a slump, but we have a footballing identity to be proud of and a way forward which we've not had in years. I honestly think we are on a linear way forward.... That said, the comments from Bossman, and others are entirely justified and shouldn't be shouted down. Unlike some immediate post match stuff, driven by emotion and hurt, these comments were entirely articulate, justified and backed up. We may not always agree, but respectful,well considered views from should always be welcomed |

As an aside, his family are also great. They gave me and my 5yr old daughter complimentary tickets for Derby away 3yrs ago (or thereabouts). They stood behind us in the ice cream queue and simply asked us if we would like the tickets. How nice is that!!! |

Out with the old guard and in with the new was always going to cause friction, and no matter how 'influential' Chambers was, he wasn't an outstanding player and didn't have the same enmity with the fans as a Holland or even a Dyer. This isn't a loss. Luton fans I know say he's pretty limited and were very glad to get rid of him. He only played a handful of games for them last season(and was poor for in those as well). To claim he could be potential World class as someone has put is a little wide of the mark.
