More than meets the eye with this. I'm a Bromley season ticket holder, and along with our two best players Woolfy has been dropped for the past 6 games. The politics around the club are ridiculous at the moment with the better players receiving pre contracts with league sides while Brom are pushing for promotion. Alan Dunne would have started at Wembley over Woolfy regardless of ability. Anyhow he's had a great 5 months down at Bromley and will be a much better player because of it.
The difference with these teams are epitomised by their second and 3rd goals:
Tom Ince brings the deficiet back to 1, before Lingaard sets up Bent to save a point for Derby. Their 3 January signings will be crucial to them going up.
My colleague is a striker for Tilbury who knows him very well. He said this morning that Notts County had been looking at him too. Said he's got a very decent left peg and while not alex henshall quick, he's not slow. Said he could probably do a job for our U21s which lets hope leads to more!
Can't believe people are criticising this one! Proven solid centre back to provide great competition for the 3 solid ones we have! small wage and remember a right footed cb so if chambers were to move again ahead of parr to rb then we have a good dynamique for cb.
Some ridiculous comments above. Fundamentally we have played the two best sides in the league and narrowly lost both times. We played against one of the worst and smashed them. Nobody at the start of this season thought about us getting automatic, but just because we've lost to these two doesn't mean in the slightest we've lost hope of playoffs. We've got leeds next, a team out standard, watch these comments change after a solid 1-0 or 2-1 win. Some ipswich fans so quick to look for scapegoats when not looking at the bigger picture.
