Frankly the best set-piece taker I've seen at PR. Hell of a 'luxury' player of us to have in Div 1 at the time, best foreign import I think I've ever seen Ipswich buy (Too young to have been around in the 70's and 80's!) Absolutely gutted when we had to sell him, that season was horrid, Holland, Hriedarsson, Stewart, Bent, Ambrose and Reuser all leaving damn near ripped the heart of the team out.
Thanks for the goals and the memories Martjin, the interview comment makes me laugh, I remember him being interviewed after we beat Bradford in the Prem, and all his answers revolved around how great his goals were and how happy he was to score them for the team! Top bloke. |
