The standout negative here this season has been the continual slagging of individual players from individual posters. The pathetic nonsense posted against Jackson, Burns and Woolfie beggars belief when we've had such a fantastic two years. Whether it's trolling or lack of intelligence it doesn't really matter, it's tragic. |

Coincidentally Lopetegui was named Real Mardrid manager whilst he was preparing the national side for the 2018 World Cup. The Spanish FA sacked him and Spain had a dreadful campaign and didn't get out of their group. Lopetegui was sacked 3 months later by Madrid. |

He's really not done anything special. His record is pretty poor in England. One good season in Seville and the same for Porto 10 years ago, and that's about it. Not sure he'll be celebrating xmas with mash and jellied eels. |

There was a young kid on Town TV asked before the match how he would feel if we made it to the Prem. He was clearly excited but said "I think I'd be delighted"
Such a Sir Alf type reply.
Really made me well up.
Edit to add some context.
I was interviewed on Radio Orwell on the Cornhill just before the FA Cup parade. The guy asked me where I was sitting when Osborne scored and replied with something really stupid with something like, "on my bum". I should have just thought, what would Sir Alf say. [Post edited 5 May 21:34]

One of their subs that came on second half, Radulovic, was playing against my son in the Catalan junior leagues 10 years ago. Said he was decent then but it was his physicality that made him stand out. |

Leeds are such a dislikeable club. Let's not forget that starting the season they had players who refused to play, those players were then standing on advertising hoardings milking it up like a Yorkshire Christ Redeemer after a goal and are now shown up for what they really are - serial bottlers, mercenaries and facing another season in the Championship.
I think and hope they'll struggle to turn it around in the play-offs. |

I have holiday homes in the Pyrenees and there's an English family arriving at one of them at "lunchtime". I'm praying that means around 1pm so I can then watch the match interrupted with a selection of Catalan beers. If it was a Catalan / Spanish group lunchtime could have meant any time during day so small mercies and all that. |

A thread where you can hold your hands up and admit you were wrong too. The continual attacks on Jackson, Burns and Woolfie from particular individuals this season on here have been bizarre, and at times verging on the manic obsessive. |

I thought Burgess was a typical average League One defender. Good with his head defending crosses and corners but limited in his pace, positioning and passing. I think maybe he should have scored more this season but at the back he's been superb. |

I did similar when I saw the Hull and Coventry line ups but in the end you could see why Hull are still challenging for play-offs and why Coventry just missed out. Huddersfield are where they are for a reason and I'm pretty confident that the result will be a positive one, even though it's likely to be very nervy too. |

So important to savour the moment and not take it for granted. I did exactly that during the Robson years, never thought for one moment we were living time constricted halcyon days, it was just the norm and didn't ever consider it might end one day. Maybe posters like PJH feel the same about the Ramsey era.
A few years back when Barça were winning everything with Xavi, Iniesta and Messi I told my son to try to bottle the enjoyment as even with a team like Barça a group like that don't come round too often. Not sure he did - I probably wouldn't have done at his age. |

3) It was you asking about hoopoes, right? First bird I saw and photographed this morning. It was a sign and an omen for orange success today. Last one today, a couple of hours before kick-off was a bullfinch. |

Best match I've seen this season. Two sides really going for it right to the end, no time wasting, no sitting back and 2 wonderful Omari goals.
Probably not our best performance, too many misses, notably Burgess header, Sarmiento and Moore, and a couple of dodgy goalkeeping moments. But...that was a great match and the result was decent. |
