Any Recommended Family Friendly Post Match Drinking Establishments Please
at 13:50 3 May 2024

Hi folks, can anyone recommend any good family friendly places that my family, friends and I can visit tomorrow post-match to celebrate?

We will have children with us, the youngest of which is 10.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received

COYB!

PS Tomorrow is going to be a magical day!

I'm not sure about a caption, but please can someone add the Benny Hill music to this clip?

I recommend calling the ticket office - they will be able to arrange the DD with you

If Town were beating Nodge 20-0 and they had a young keeper in goal

For a Norwich keeper - No, fill your boots boys and score many more

For any other team's keeper - hold off and show some compassion for the young lad

A book? Surely it would be a short story?

Phil can you ask the club to clarify this ticket situation?

>>Our players barely sign, barely do photos, and Ive been to many away grounds including premier league where players are all out there on arrival to the ground giving the fans their time. With Ipswich, as a premium experience, you can touch a limp hand of a footballer or coach looking straight ahead and dead eyed. Its not good enough.<<

I'd like to answer the above - my young Son and I attend most games home and away.

We have waited for players before, during and after many many matches, both home and away. I want to make it absolutely clear that not a single player has EVER turned down a request for a picture or an autograph - not just with my Son, but with any of the supporters or their children when we have been there.

We have been there when players have emerged from the dressing room injured, battered, bruised and at times, unhappy. As soon as they see our fans, especially the younger ones, all of our players are ready to engage in a very positive fashion and they happily sign autographs, take pictures and chat until the - often rather long - line has been completed.

If any of you have the EFL highlights programme from Plymouth away from a few weeks ago, watch the clip before our game highlights.

The team coach arrives and the players disembark. Sam Morsy spots one of our younger fans within the queue of supporters waiting for the coach to arrive. He breaks into a massive smile, goes over to this young fan and shakes his hand. The joy on this fan's face (and Sam's) is priceless.

I appreciate that your opinion is your opinion, but on this occasion it is complete nonsense. The player interaction experiences at our wonderful club are among the best, if not the best, in the country.

My young Son and I will be making the long journey to Portman Road on Wednesday - you are more than welcome to join us as we meet players after the game, even more so if you have a young one with you. Feel free to DM me.

All the best and have a great day.

Tuanzebe or Clarke?

Axel has been superb in the past few games. For me, he has done more than enough to keep the shirt.

However, with 5 games in 15 days, there will definitely be some rotation and utilising our squad

Morning all, does anyone know if Sky (or anyone else) will move the kickoff time for Hull away?

Many thanks for any help

Is there any possibility that the team would stay up North between the Hull and Coventry games to save on travelling?

Did you count the tickets 1-by-1? Or is there somewhere that displays the remaining ticket quantities?

I'm doing the same thing - driving over tonight, but in a regular Premier Inn.

My young Son can't wait - having never set foot in Wales before, we've been twice in 3 weeks!

Any Sheffield Wednesday positive result would be a welcome bonus

The obvious 2 things are that (a) it's a 1230 HRS kickoff and don't forget your tickets.

There is a Costco within the retail park next door to the ground, if that is your thing. Be aware there is a timed limit on parking within the retail park, but you can extend your parking period for free within Costco (from memory, I think it's 90 minutes to 3 hours), you simply have to enter your reg into the device on the wall.

Bessemer Road Market is a good alternative place to park - it's cheap and about a 10 minute walk.

Have a safe trip

An unbelievable player, so effective, so consistent, makes the game look so easy...and a genuinely humble man.

A massive thanks to Paul Cook for bringing him here
