Never expected any sort of financial return from helping to bail out our beloved club all those years ago but I do think those of us who were able to and did help out at the time haven't ever really been especially well treated by the club.
Sure, for our "investment" we got a few nice things like a signed shirt, stadium tour, etc. but other than an annual invite to the AGM we've never had anything else from the club, except this slightly bluntly worded email/letter. I think a previous poster's suggestion of a wall naming those that helped out, might be a bit much but it's not entirely unreasonable. Personally, right now, I'd settle for a ticket in the away end at Coventry tomorrow night! |

Sticking my head in the sand to get away from our record since the Lincoln win, I've turned to planning a summer break. I'm in Denmark for work in mid-July and then we have a family do to attend in Oslo in early August. So we were thinking of taking advantage of this by spending a couple of weeks touring Sweden by train and we were wondering if anyone who's been, or maybe even better, any of our Swedish friends, might have advice, tips, "must see" places, etc.
If possible I'd also like to try and see a match as I understand their season will be well underway. Are matches ever sold out? Are we likely to struggle to get a ticket?

Got a work trip to Hamburg coming up later in the month. Planning to take a few days off the back of it to visit Copenhagen & Malmö. Would much appreciate any tips for "must see" places, bars or eateries in any of them. Thanks in advance |

Not wishing at all to put anyone off from protesting whenever they wish but just thought I'd mention something that might be worth noting for the home game against Newcastle on Easter Monday.
As things currently stand, I'm reliably informed that it will be one of the feature games for C5 coverage meaning at least a 6 camera outside broadcast, edited highlights of which will be on UK tv but it also goes live to various regions globally.
I'm not certain exactly where, maybe forum members around the world can tell us which countries get a live EFL game on Saturdays at 3pm GMT? Perhaps a protest that attracts a global audience might embarass ME, etc that bit more. |
