I believe it was 2008/09 we had David Wright and Liam Rosineior ( loan) since then centre backs and right wingers seem to have done a better job than any specialist right back we have signed.

Ugly, Disgusting, Horrible Game

3 points and a clean sheet, but that second half was as bad as anything ever witnessed at Portman road. Even including Barry Manilow in concert.

This habit of falling apart, second half is worrying.

Collins confirmed (n/t)

Fingers crossed, he is more Tony Mobray than Mark fish or the icelander we signed from Reading who's name escapes me.

what's odds on Burton pulling this round in the 2nd leg?
at 22:33 9 Jan 2019

If City have five players sent off, and another five go off injured, Burton may still turn things around.

Lambert: I Can Still Keep Town Up With Hard Work and Financial Support
at 16:34 7 Jan 2019

Paul Lambert is the first manager to tell it how it is, since ME took over the club. He sees what the fans have know for years. I hope and pray he stays next season, whatever league we are in.

How many players do we think Lamberts arrival has improved?

Jordan Graham. When he shot out the door, it was the fastes8he had moved all season.

Norwich away tickets will go on sale in a couple of weeks...
at 22:24 1 Jan 2019

I predict an upset. If Norwich are still in the promotion shake up, the pressure on them to beat rock bottom Ipswich will be huge. Add Paul Lambert to the mix as well. Stopping the Budgies from getting promotion would definitely lift the gloom.

Even after today...
at 22:14 1 Jan 2019

Today, the hope died for me, as the third goal went in. 10 points from safety, 11 really considering our GD. This means we need 4 more wins than the next 3 teams above. Not impossible but highly unlikely given our form during 2018. The standard of player we need, ME won't pay for, but with us in this position they wouldn't want to come anyway.

Anyone seen any out of favour, premier league footballers in the town centre ? Pogba in Burger king or Defoe in HMV ? etc

Mason Holgate will be made available for loan in January I hear. With Towns Joe Royle connection it could be a possibility, though I hear villa are keen.

Under consumer law, you can return any goods that are not " fit for purpose ". I think that rule covers all of Hurst"s signings.
