Harry - you are a super legend and an essential part of pre-match preparation. Good things can't last forever but maybe, just maybe, one day when the horizon clears you'll give it another go? We sat together a few years back at Watford when we were hammered the whole game but won 0-1 when Richard Chaplow slotted home in the last minute. An ecstatic town moment! You introduced yourself (Harry) and told me where you were from (Bath) and I still didn't make the connection. I did note that you were suspiciously knowledgeable though, and the penny did eventually drop - too late for me to thank you in person for all those times you've brightened up my Ipswich week. Hope I get that chance at an away stand somewhere next season. |

Anyone else notice Flynn Downes today? Class performance. Loads of energy and really nice on the ball in tight situations. MOTM. Good luck lads and good luck PL. COYB |

Bring back Manuel Thetis - or cyborg twins cloned from Kevin Beattie with a sprinkle of Mick Mills, Tony Mowbray for the offsides and Mark Venus for the dead ball deliveries, and Gus Uhlenbeek for raw speed. Any scientists out there? |
| News Comment | Town Confirm McCarthy and Connor to Leave at End of Season at 14:38:25
I am glad to see the majority of sentiment here is positive at last. MM and TC are proper football men. They lacked two things: competitive financial backing and luck at the key moments. If we had had Andre, Teddy, Emir and Tom fit this year after the fast start we had, who knows? I dare say Mick would have given us some quick passing progressive football if he'd had a half decent pitch and a fit squad. What he and TC did do is not lose games when the relegation death spiral was looming. Not always pretty, but I for one am grateful that we did not make the trip to League 1. So, Mick and TC, thank you, good luck next time out, and I am sorry the frustration we all feel about so many years in the doldrums boiled over. Over to you Mr Evans. If you need to attract other investment in the club, let's hope there's a way. Give us a flat pitch, a face-lift for the stadium, and drop the ticket prices right down for the younger fans (it can't be more expensive than having the seats empty). There must be plenty of parents who would bring their kids down if the price was right. All these things are investments that would lift the mood and do not rely on luck (unlike our injury list). Think about what would make a good player want to play at Ipswich too. A full stadium, a good infrastructure and progressive coaching must be up there. Good luck and Happy Easter to true blues everywhere |

Happy Christmas and thanks for all the hard work Phil and Gav. I too am a twtd addict. Cheers to all the town faithful. Looking forward to the ups and downs (mostly ups I hope) in 2018. COYB! |

Good luck Milts. Thanks for all the good times and thanks particularly for coming up and doing the London Branch meetings so well. What a gent. Hope the Ghana project is a roaring success and that you remember to wear a hat out there! Take care mate - you're a true blue legend! |
| News Comment | This is Going to Be One Mad Sunday Afternoon - Notes for Nottingham Forest at 10:51:26
Wonderful work Harry - we love you! Agree with Pencil Pete - Tony Mowbray a Town hero and a top bloke. Let's do him a favour I have never quite forgiven Forrest for an incident at the ticket window there when I was asked 'Adult or Senior Sir?'. I may have had a bit of a rough week but was still in my 40s at the time... |
