Ticket Promotion at Burton Match
at 21:04:50

Anyone know why there always adverse comments when the club meets its obligation as defined in the terms and conditions to provide a ticket promotion for purchasers of the various membership schemes. Surely season ticket holders weigh up the pros and cons of all the ticket purchasing opportunities and choose the one that suits them best. I guess its all a matter of choice, and we all choose the one that overall suits us best.

Comparison Time Again
at 19:53:43

Perhaps all the current disgruntled fans should consider this little statistic. We would all probably agree that our best season for the last 10 years ended in May 2015 with Micks Ipswich reaching the playoffs. That season after 15 games we were 8th with 24 points with a + 6 goal difference. What do you know its same as this year with 2 goals difference. We all know it aint gonna be pretty and we re gonna grind out the points. But to my mind if we reach the playoffs by whatever means, then it will be a successful season. So come on lets all pull together and support the Club. You need to have a "Glass full" attitude if you re a Town supporter. COYBs

Ticket Offer for Wolves Match
at 16:36:04

Poor old season ticket holders, already get your seats 25% cheaper than I do. If you re so hard done by don't renew. Its you season ticket holders that are forcing up the high cost of tickets. They have to charge a higher matchday price to appear to give Season ticket holders a discount. If you all failed to renew they would take more notice of fans feelings and the supply demand factor would push all the prices down.

Listen Again: Milne and Andrews on Life's a Pitch
at 18:40:07

I listened to the interview on Saturday and again just now. Could nt say that Mr Milne or Mr Andrews inspired me in the slightest. They had no passion whatsoever. Clearly we are where we are. Like Mr Evans I will be working to an undisclosed budget. I can make savings and still attend games. Not renewing my silver card. Sit in Lower Stand. Not purchase product from shop or bar/refreshments and so on. Perhaps its time to remind the owner that we are walking adverts for his business. Would nt it be ironic if we all attended the remaining games this season wearing retro shirts rather than promoting the current owner. Come on Mr Evans, don't send boys to do men's work. Be a man and talk to the fans direct. How about meeting some of us face to face.?

McCarthy: My Toughest Year at Town
at 09:03:48

I will continue to support the team during this difficult time, but can not support the Manager or Owners tactics. This is my strategy for attending Ipswich Town games. it will remain in place until there is a change of match tactics and serious investment in playing staff. 1. I will not renew my Silver membership. 2. I will sit in a lower priced seat. 3. I will not purchase any club item from on line, the shop, the refreshment bar. 4. I will not purchase a match day programme. 5. I will not purchase a ticket any earlier than 1 day before the match. 6. I will not enter the stadium early. 7. I will not take my seat until the latest possible. This will be my peaceful protest. There are far more than 10% of fans who are disgruntled, perhaps there's more than one way of protesting.

Ipswich Town 0-2 Fulham - Match Report
at 00:27:12

I don't post on he very often, I'm a quiet loyal fan who goes to about 25 games a season.
I travel from Cambridge to about 15 home game and 10 away games a season.
I'm usually very supportive of the Club and Manager. But enough is enough.
I ve written an e mail to the club requesting a refund for The Boxing day event.
Perhaps if more people did this including Season Ticket holders, then some notice
and action might be taken to restore this Clubs dignity.

The email reads as follow:-
Could you please refund me the cost of two tickets @ £19 each as I do not believe the product supplied was fit for purpose under the Sale of Goods Act.
What I saw was not acceptable and in contravention of the Trades Description Act.
The Event supplied was not a match it was total failure to supply an Ipswich Town
performance. I don't mind when we lose, but I do mind when the team don't turn up.
I ve followed Town up and down since 1975 and that excuse for
a game was without doubt the worst performance I have ever seen.
And to add insult to proceedings, who decided to play the song Glad All Over
as we left the stadium?
Is no one in touch with the customers/fans feelings at all?

Police Praise for Fans
at 22:40:50

I ve been a Town fan for 40 years. I get to about 20 games a season, that includes 4 or 5 away games. I travel by car and train. Sometimes on my own, sometime with friends sometimes with my daughter and my 6yo grandson. During that time I ve visited 44 away grounds. Yesterday was my first visit to Carrow Rd. Do I go to the same games as the people that post adverse comments on here? I ve never had cause to complain about stewards or policing/police constables at any of the games ive been to, in fact I found on the two occasions I spoke to a police officer and a steward yesterday I found them to be both courteous and informative.
Could it be the way I conduct myself when Im proudly representing my club.
Could it be that when I go to a game I don't shout and swear on the train in a way that annoys other travellers whilst swigging alcohol.
Could it be that I treat all people, whoever they support with the courtesy and dignity that I expect to be treated with.
Could it be that trouble will always find trouble for those looking for it.
Makes you wonder don't it.
For the record Im as passionate about Town as I always have been. I sing. I shout. I chant.
I know how to conduct myself with dignity and pride.
