Yet another embarrassing incompetent waste of space as a referee.

I can't remember the referee missing a goal or a tackle? I really hope you are extracting the urine?

Best I've seen Town play for quite a while. We did enough to win. Unlucky not to score. Just not getting any luck when our cards are down.

80 mins for 1st subs should have been 50th min what happened this time another fan told Mick to make a change. His stubbiness is costing points every week! Time for Mick to make decisions or do one.

A slightly better performance today with the back four and especially keeper Gerken doing their bit. The problem to my mind is that we are trying to accommodate three forward players in a formation that does not suit any of them, all playing out of position in a team with no width or creativity, either from midfield or attacking wing backs.
A 4-4-2 formation would be better IMO, with the current back 4 and keeper, midfield of Oar, Skuse/Douglas, Bru/McGoldrick, AMN, up front Pitman, Sears. If Fraser was available, he would be first on the team sheet.
Murphy and McGoldrick should be the front pairing but their form is poor, Pitman and Sears are players with an understanding.

good first half unlucky not to score, second half we never looked like scoring, standing in the north stand i cannot recall one good effort on goal. sadly Murphy lacking confidence ? and Sears wasted out wide.Dids was poor. Why wait 80mins to make a change ?

Overheard someone describe the game as 'tedious' as I left the ground and I think that sums it up perfectly!
Too many players playing out of position, Chambers , Sears, and a lack of quality is really hurting us at the moment. Every team that comes to Portman Road attacks with pace and speed whilst our attacks are so ponderously slow, that is if the ball has not been lumped aimlessly forward to be mopped up by the opposition centre halfs.
Its just not working for us at the moment.
