Funny how Harness's goal wasn't shown! A deserved goal unjustly chalked off by yet another ref who seems to want to keep us in this league. Now I've seen the highlights Donacien was at fault for both Barnsley's goals, ball watching in both crosses coming in with no attempt at a challenge. Thought overall we played well if it wasn't for the ref would have gone home with a smile on our faces and 3pts. Having said that the defence must take a big look at themselves for what it seems two gifted goals.

Still not convinced by Ladapo. He did tap all yesterday.

Agree cloddy, how can the most controversial decision of the game not be a highlight ?

Yes I know this was a highlights package , but surely the pivotal moment in the game should be included!!!!

Was at the press conference yesterday and have to say that was the most animated I've seen McKenna since they've re-introduced them in the media suite.

By all standards he was measured though and should escape any EFL punishment with his diplomacy.

Ladapo does need goals but up on his own for too long against 2 brick sh1t houses.

Weird that the Harness goal wasn't shown. Surely the key moment of the whole game? Should be included in all its glory for the referee to look back and squirm at.

They didn't show the Harness goal because the bloody REF (the To**er) got it wrong. On top of that I hope we never have him again as he was sh*te.

One hopes ITFC video team will have saved every detail of the Harness incident for a major discussion with the Referees advisory bodies !
Nothing is actually served by stirring up and prolonging any sort of grievance and anger ; BUT everybody in the game of football ought to be concerned about maintaining tip top performances from Mgt , Players and particularly the Officials whose contributions are absolutely critical to providing an entertaining spectacle without prejudice or ‘incompetence ‘ ; they do, however , need supervision and motivation as well as objective critique .
Sadly much remains amiss in the Refereeing fraternity. ; let's hope Howard Webb comes with a BROOM and renewed determination to change lots for the better !( It's very much needed )
Yesterday ,as well illustrated by the highlights ,demonstrated the lack of cohesion ,concentration and determined focus which has and will dog progress unless the team sort themselves out and regain Professional consistency !

There has to be some comeback on this. This man can't continue to referee games in this league after this awful performance

The Harness incident really was 6 of one and half a dozen of the other, the Barnsley defender tried to shield the ball to get his body and outstretched arms in the way of the ball and their goalie to collect it and Harness lifted his arm on the shoulder of the player to get by (what else was he meant to do) their defender was doing just as much.

Thanks for the link (above) you'll see it on 'Town in five' at 4:08

They usually post a second extended highlights package on the ITFC channel on Youtube. That one has the Harness non-goal incident in it.

Cloddyseedbed, these highlights don't show the 2nd Barnsley goal in full there were three other Barnsley players around the number 4 all with a marker, when they peeled away the markers went with them, he had none. looked like a spider when the light goes on..... if i stand still no one will notice me..... KM mentioned him as the blocker with that it looks like no one was assigned to pick him up as there were several town players with out a man to mark.... so that one you have to put down to management. The first goal is to much like the norm for us when balls come into the box we do not challange for the ball tight enough even if just to put them under pressure.....unlike the marking on our forwards in the box.....I would suggest that our clean sheets are more to do with the team as a whole than the quality of our central defenders.....I'm sure there would be plenty who disagree with that.

I think the ref disallowed the Harness goal for alleged handball right at the start of the incident, before the contact in the box. It was supposedly at the top of Harness's left arm - the ref sort of signals this. Seems very harsh to me, could well have been his chest. The ref was poor generally IMO. Their 48 should have been carded for the foul on Burns leading up to the first goal, as it was a deliberate foul right on the edge of the box.
