Swans Linked With Williams
Wednesday, 14th Dec 2016 09:44

Swansea City reportedly could be interested in signing Blues loanee Jonny Williams from Crystal Palace in the January transfer window.

According to The Guardian, Williams’s parent club Palace want to add a left-back to their ranks during the window with the loan of Tottenham’s Ben Davies top of their wish list.

However, Swansea’s Neil Taylor is another alternative and that potential deal could include Williams, who was previously linked with the Swans last January and also in the summer of 2014, moving in the opposite direction.

Williams is due to stay with the Blues until the end of the season but Palace are understood to be able to cut the loan short in January.

The 23-year-old Wales international, who has another 18 months left on his Palace contract, has made seven sub appearances during what is his fourth loan spell with the Blues, having spent the first few months of the campaign recovering from an ankle injury he suffered in pre-season with Palace.

He'd be a cracking signing for Swansea. Could be our top player hands down if he selected in the 10 position...but it wont happen.

Let them have their "Being in Denial" & unmistakably CHILDISH fun! :-) lol

Hegansheroes and MicksZzzTactics

We need the likes of Elto, swn98, Gcon, Bohslegend, Geniusmustang, Rabbitt et al. Some of these guys (Elto for example) have been in this group for many years and when he does post I find his posts excellent (Elto supporter here, even if I don't agree with his point of view!). We need the whole "ying and yang" thing or else tWTD would be as boring as hell (we post, everyone agrees and we get 200 likes). For the most part, everyone here wants what is best for the club. I'm a firm Mick-outer, but it's really important to see the other side of the coin to weigh it all up correctly. I'm pleased these guys are all still involved, participating, disliking our posts and criticising.

Interesting outburst. Your post that I down voted doesn't mention McCarthy.

Assumptions, perceptions. For the sake of clarity - If MM left the club today I wouldn't be shedding any tears. What will be, will be.

Elto = I have read through Hegans post several times and for the life of me cannot see anything for a person to mark down no matter what their persuasion so would you mind explaining to us all why you gave him a down mark or was it historical?

There was and still is a poll.

I don't think I'd ever go to the trouble of down voting for historical reasons. I'd hope not anyway.

@guentchev
Agree!!!.... although only mostly in principle! That is: Of course we need to hear inputs from both sides -- but slightly more from the OBJECTIVE side though i.e. "us" :-) lol -- else and exactly as you say it becomes boring, predictable and 1-dimensional .... However what piZzzzed off so many MM-skeptical posters here , me included occasionally!, is that this aforementioned group of McCarthy "next a kin" accounts :-) lol (+ a few others actually) blatantly obvious has an almost REPULSIVE tendency to just log on here with 1 agenda in mind ONLY! namely to down-vote fans with a seriously different opinion, different from their own rosy-tinted and close to a 100% MM exonerating one, and "JUST FOR THE SAKE OF IT"!!!!!!!!!!

Some of them, not all of them though, additionally has the cowardice and childish tendency to only down-vote "just for the sake of it" but to make matters more susceptible to be annoying not "bothering" to explain why?! ....unless perhaps on occasion if really repeatedly pressed!

You should know me and my style pretty well by know @guentchev.... and what characterizes my style is that I'm predominantly overly SARCASTIC in my inputs (sadly too many members here seems to lack even a BASIC 'Sense of Humor'?! Oh well it's their loss LOL), but sometimes when I go into these novella-like longer "rants" I mostly do so exactly in order to be extra thorough with details & arguments because there imho are so substantial many of the TWTD members here who appears to be either uniformed & ignorant, living in a severe "State of Denial" or else are simply outright grossly 'unintelligent' sounding .... regarding not only MM of course but also occasionally regarding some of the "undroppables" and whether we played and performed "well" or not and subsequently has anything to be really IMPRESSED about as a team, after any given game!

....and while these "rants" of mine might not always be directly "undebunkable" :-) all the way through I do really strive to be fairly FACTUAL (even when slightly intoxicated lol), and thus it CAN feel very annoying/repulsive to get down-voted my the same Zzzzilly MM-worshipping poster(s) over and over again who as I said apparently are too cowardice to even try to explain what it is he/she finds to be directly UNFACTUAL about it .... but then again personally I don't loses any sleep whatsoever over being down-voted, even excessively!

So alas to round up not their perfectly good right and need to be here but alluding mostly to these potentially quite annoying parts of it!, well Bontcho I simply repeat what I outlined in my 1st post: "Let them have their unmistakably CHILDISH fun!" :-)
