Released Town defender Piotr Malarczyk is set to join Polish top flight side Cracovia, according to reports in Poland.

Malarczyk, 25, left the Blues yesterday after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

The centre-half, who joined Town from his hometown club Korona Kielce a year ago yesterday, is due at the Krakow-based club for a medical tomorrow.

Decent guy, tried, but even Bobby Moore would have struggled to get past MMs defensive selection process and budge one of his favourites. All defenders need time to bed in with their team and he simply was never given the chance. Was he good enough? Perhaps not, but as with so many others in recent times we only have what MM sees in training to work with !
