Three Changes at Barnsley
Saturday, 29th Sep 2012 14:09

Town boss Paul Jewell has made three changes to his side for this afternoon’s game at Barnsley. Danny Higginbotham comes in for his first start with Luke Hyam, who hasn’t started since the 6-0 loss at Blackpool, and Guirane N’Daw both in the line-up.

Tommy Smith, Massimo Luongo and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas all drop to the bench. Full preview here.

Barnsley are unchanged from the team which beat Birmingham City 5-0 at St Andrew's last week with one-time Town loanee Marlon Harewood on the bench.

Town: Loach, Edwards, Chambers, Higginbotham, Cresswell, N'Daw, Hyam, Drury, Martin, Murphy, Scotland. Subs: Lee-Barrett, Ainsley, Smith, Emmanuel-Thomas, Luongo, Ellington, Murray.

Barnsley: Alnwick, Kennedy, Foster, Wiseman, Golbourne, Crainie, Cywka, Dawson, Mellis, Davis, Dagnall. Subs: Steele, Perkins, Etuhu, Harewood, Done, Stones, Rose.

First choice strikers out, Hyam injured, N'Daw taken off for bad conduct and Ainsley as a holding midfielder. We were lucky to scrape a draw frankly.

Hopefully we'll get a striker on loan before tuesday (fingers crossed)

At least we didn't lose, come on guy's!
