Town boss Paul Jewell has made one change to his line-up for tonight’s game against Wolves at Portman Road with Massimo Luongo replacing Andy Drury in midfield.

Full-back Joe Whight replaces Ronan Murray on the bench, despite the Irishman’s suspension for his red card in the U21s only applying to non-first team games. Full match preview here.

Town: Loach, Edwards, Chambers, Smith, Cresswell, N'Daw, Luongo, Martin, Taylor, Murphy, Chopra. Subs: Lee-Barrett, Ainsley, Whight, Hyam, Drury, Emmanuel-Thomas, Scotland.

Wolves: Ikeme, Stearman, Ward, Johnson, Berra, Boukari, Henry, Edwards, Sako, Sigurdarson, Doyle. Subs: De Vries, Peszko, Ebanks-Blake, Hunt, Doumbia, Foley, Magreitter.

I am 40 and since i was a wee nipper i have supported this great club ...at the moment i am so dispondent about the situation , as Jonny Phillips said on sky special tonight it must be difficult for Paul Jewell as we have talented forwards who can't seem to hit the goal area from 6 yards ....murphy missed two gilt edged chances tonight !!!!! somethings got to give and i fear unless a result is earned on Saturday Mr Jewell needs to walk as this team is going nowhere unless fresh impetus is provided . Perhaps the elusive Mr Evans should show his face once in a while and reassure us fans who just hate Saturdays ( + mid week ) debacles .

nice to see I've got a negative post for stating a fact about not scoring in the first half! - maybe the truth hurts? - other than that it sounds like from the write up we played ok and again missed some chances but you don't get bonus points at the end of the season for attempts. Don't worry Chopra's got another 28 goals in him!

Can anyone give me a good reason that Paul Jewell should stay as manager? Money is tight in my house. I have my second child on the way. 30 quid a ticket? One of the most expensive tickets in the country? I'm going to miss my first game in 24 years on Saturday. I'm going to the zoo with my family and then come home and have decent steak and red wine. I will come home happier and better off. I've supported Ipswich all my life and I always will. I'm behind you all the way. Spending my spare money on feeling angry and sad with a bunch of fans who are not willing to sing. Nope.

Ipswich61 I have always supported Jewell until now, but that was pathetic and I totally agree with you, that it's Jewell no one wants to sign for and not the club, I just hope Evans gets some balls and get rid quick. I know that only 6 games have gone but we have gone backwards big time, since last year.

A duplicate performance of Boro, created lots of chances, hardly any on target, and they scored with the few they had.

Either sort it out or get out!

Right. Just listened to jewell. He clearly wants out. He will not leave his contract. He has to be sacked now. All passion has gone.

when your in a situation where you cant win,it gets harder to get out of it,players moral will be low,and as long as that muppet jewell is in charge the situation will get worse and worse

To clarify. Jewell has to be gone before next game.

Lightning doesn't strike twice in ny opinion. to lose once after dominating is unlucky, to do it twice is just careless!

look at the results over not just the last 6 games but also the last 10 of last season. Surely on the basis that none of the players are improving let alone results its time for Jewel and his lower level coaches to go.

not really when theres thousands of town fans on here slating him, all agreeing with eachother... not lonely is it?

Jewell has lost the fans. He has lost the dressing room. After his comments yesterday he will lose respect of other managers. I can confidently say he has lost financial backing in terms of wages which we need to bring quality. For gods sake why can't he walk away fro the shambles that is left

i think its time for a change with manager like all of us do, but some people on here talk like paul jewell wants us to lose every game, i'd like to see some people on here be a manager and deal with this kind of abuse

Time to go Jewel id rather save my money and go and watch Dunstable Town in the Molten Spartan South Midlands League, its cheaper and more enjoyable, i never thought i would say this as i approach my 50th birthday and been a ITFC supporter all my life along with my father and my son. Bleak times ahead.

TractorCam-

That's because Chopra is a poacher and if he isn't on form we have no 'natural' goalscorers, the fact Paul Taylor missed 11 chances at Boro and often missed the target suggests this, and Murphy is never going to be prolific especially when half the time he is working defensively.Martin will get you maybe 7 goals in a season likewise JET and he's been on the bench. Taylor, JET and Martin are all luxury players who you cannot put money on to score. We cannot rely on Chopra week in week out.
