Pit stop at Reading services… on 00:52 - Mar 3 by Illinoisblue
It was, I cried like a baby when I watched the recording a couple days after the game.
Taped it (yes, taped!) while I was at Wembley and I watched it at 3am once I got home from various watering holes. I subsequently watched it every week for practically the next year.

You beat that coaches then….! Long old day, but what a team this is and all so worth it.
Wondered if we had, did they go back the way they went? I drove back via the M5 then M4 as was the same length time wise and couldn’t be arsed with the winding A303 in the dark.

Indeed, 11 big, big games to go.
Got in at 12:25, went 303 but then had to divert as M3 was shut after best part of an hour stop at Fleet….then ended up M11, A120 but was a pretty good run

Yeah it’s not a bad journey really, didn’t feel as long as it was in a weird way.
Ah I went A12 but there was a little closure on that between Ingatestone and Margeretting, it isn’t an away day without at least one closure to navigate.
The Galloways aren’t to bad but the main problem is usually the very long stops that seem to drag.

Was on the piss for a couple days after Wembley then took a day off to watch it. Tears did flow. I hope there’s more happy crying to come…

Yep, especially the way there….stopped at Fleet for over an hour which was too long but fair enough - then stopped at Exeter for basically 45 mins when you were only that far away from Plymouth and just want to get there
I couldn't go yesterday, but a great effort by those that went. Long, long way, but to come back with 3 points is well worth it. Take a bow all those that travelled.
