The beard is one of the truly spectacular things in sport

Moeen Ali - I didn't know this on 11:56 - Jul 9 with 933 views | gainsboroughblue | 60 odd tests, all of which have been since the introduction of DRS which massively increased the spin bowlers chances of getting a decision on the front foot. John Emburey in the 80's was not as fortunate, and a much superior bowler.

Underwood I suspect. Edit. Yep, Underwood 297, Swann 255. [Post edited 9 Jul 2023 12:00]

DRS has had a massive impact on slow bowlers taking more wickets, Warne always reckoned he'd have had 1000 wickets with DRS in play. and I think Dickie Bird once said he'd never have given any wicket that now gets reviewed by DRS as out, as out in his day at all. I suspect when England actually develop the next world class spin bowler, which they probably wont ever just because of the way the game is structured here, theyll end taking 300 wickets easily in their career.

121 wickets in 42 tests at 37.68. Many a match winning contribution though.
