That’s a little bit old isn’t it, but certainly worth revisiting given her proposal to sell off C4. In short, she’s a cretin and shouldn’t be anywhere near government. The public funding lie is a deliberate line as well - loads of government supporters and even the odd MP have been repeating it. It does matter whether it’s true for them it’s just a simple concept, although wrong, that their followers can repeat. Politics for morons.
