I wonder if Lambert demanded a contract extension or he’d walk? And if so why didn’t Evans call his bluff?

It's an interesting one isn't it, the last time he had a bit of a moan he ended up getting KVY, Garbutt and Keane so who knows

Knowing Lambert's past, I'd be surprised if he were to accept an extension without assurances he is going to be backed

According to Andy Warren this has been agreed for a while but announcement was waiting on coaching staff details being sorted so Gillingham comments were him just talking a load of sh!te as he knew he was safe no matter what.
