That said I expect Rotherham, Peterborough and Portsmouth at least to provide a sterner test. Sunderland will probably be spending another year in league 1.
Garbutt and Jackson excelled in the first half, Woolfy was great. Norwood put himself about a bit and made a nuisance of himself, but he needs to find his shooting boots soon.
Skuse and Downes were decent, winnning most of the midfield battles. Rowe was quiet, no surprise to see him subbed. Kenlock and Donacien were comfortable for most of the game. Holy was largely unemployed. Judge's touch looked a bit off when he came on, probably still a bit rusty.
All in all, a decent performance thrown away by one silly moment. |  |
