Get the back 4 and goalkeeper all playing together communicating with each other knowing their jobs. Know who is going to start in the other key areas of the pitch. Pretty sure he has a good idea of who he is going to play in the Burton game. For me FWIW I think there are only really a couple of positions up for grabs - GK, 1 MFer, 1 forward.

The bonus with the strikers is that both Jackson and Norwood have looked lively and scored goals during pre-season, their confidence will be up and they'd want to play rather than sitting on the bench. I'd start them both if I was PL. What's also quite exciting is that when Sears returns a front 3 of Jackson, Sears and Norwood looks very exciting, plenty of pace and movement. | |
