Aren't you rather naively assuming that Big Pharma companies WOULDN'T be making drugs based around cannabinoids were rules relaxed here?

You think it's ok for May and other cabinet members to directly financially benefit from government policy?

This is the bigger issues. Too many politicians are directly benefitting from political decisions they are making. MPs are well paid so that they should not need to do this.

We need more Tracey Crouch types.

Surely if there are government ministers involved in drug companies(which are almost certainly developing and quietly researching cannabis based medications) then this policy of clamping down on Da Erb would NOT be in their interests given the tens of millions, that bringing drugs to the market costs?

I think what Badger is saying, is given their interests why would they look to limit the number of people who can benefit?

Because they are rank hypoctite politicians but as the worlds biggest exporter I suppose our market is a drop in the ocean! (Which will gradually be relaxed based on political expediency rather than medical efficacy)
The wider point is these political/business families with fingers in multiple pies!
