I’m not trying to suggest that Chambers is on the brink of the England squad, he is basically Championship ‘average’. However, his experience means a lot of teams at this level would have him.

I think you’ll find, as I quoted MOST championship squads would have him. However, if you want me to randomly pick, maybe Bolton or Forest, how about Sheffield Utd or maybe even Wednesday, then there’s Millwall or dare I say Naaridge.
The point your missing is that he is as solid as it gets at this level. The same applies to Skuse, Jonas and sadly the trio that Hurst sold!
